Airlift customer service was horrible when I tried to get help with my Air Lift 1000s (in-spring bags). One started leaking after only 1 year, barely even used them. Filled out a customer service/warranty form online, submitted it. They emailed me after a few days, asking for information I had already provided in the form. I gave it to them anyway.
After a few rounds of back and forth, them constantly asking for more information (rather than looking at my form or requesting it all again in one email), I threw in the towel. It felt like their goal was to make it a hindrance so that I would give up. Well, it worked... I gave up on their company.
I waited until the Timber Groves were on sale (rare, but it happens), and ordered a set. They went in easy, instructions were decent, and have had no issues so far. I think I've had them for two years (ish) now, but I might be a bit off.
Others are correct, their 5000 kits (most if not all) do not require cutting the bump-stops anymore. They bolt on similarly to the Timber Groves. However, I also have to wonder if they would have actually changed their design to be bolt on if the Timber Groves (and other companies) had not had competing designs that did the same thing.
