Anyone know of a kit that replaces the spare tire? 2017 ram 1500 dual exhaust 4x4. Just looking for air tanks. Plan is to mount a pump in the front of the bed where it’s clean and covered under my tonneau cover and run lines down under the bed since I’m not running a spare. I would like to be able to have large enough tanks in case I need to run air tools or fill up 35s. I don’t run a spare under the bed. And I don’t want to take space out if the bed for tanks.

I have the viair constant duty 450c with the 2.5 gallon tank that I'm going to mount along the passenger side frame rail so I can keep the spare tire.
It's supposed to be good for tires up to 37"
I haven't gotten around to installing it yet. On the to do list.

I don’t think a true 35 fits under the bed on these trucks and I’m hoping someone knows of a direct bolt in kit. I thought I had seen one somewhere before specifically designed for the ram trucks

I was looking for something similar but I ended up mounting an arb compressor under the rear driver seat. It's protected and let's me air up after going on the beach. Obviously you can't run air tools but my 12v impact takes care of that now.

Aired down a 35 will fit on a 17" wheel. One of the other members on here did it. I cant remeber who. But just fabricate a bracket for the tanks. That's where I'll be putting mine when I get the money for a klien kit with horns [emoji48][emoji48][emoji48]

I carry a 35" BFG Mud Terrain under the bed of my '12 2500... Carried one under the bed of my '98 2500, too.... Air them down, winch them up, air them up to around 40... Works just fine. If you need the spare, winch the tire "down" so you can get the lift plate loose and through the center hole, then take the handle off your HiLift jack and pop the tire down from between the rails. Change the tire, air it up, and away you go...

I have a 33x12.50x20 on the factory wheel but the mount that drops down does not fit through the factory wheel hole. Had to strap it in. I dont think a 35 would fit. 1500 also...
