Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that we just released our 2"/4" lowering kit for the 2019+ Ram 1500 2wd/4wd trucks. The kit utilizes 0"-3" adjustable front struts while the rear consists of 4" drop coils, track bar bracket, sway bar end links & rear shocks. The kit# is K332724 and is available through any Maxtrac Suspension retailer.

Any idea if the headlights need to be realigned after this kit, or just the 2" rear drop springs?

Technically anytime you modify a vehicles height whether lifted or lowered, you will want to adjust the headlights accordingly but I don't think it's necessary with a lowering kit. Especially if you are only going to drop the rear but that will be up to you

I appreciate your experience. I only have halogen headlights, and they may be easier on the eyes of oncoming traffic.

Might be a stupid question, but do you have any Canadian distributors?

Any Ontario Canada retailers??
If not can someone become one... and build a sponsor truck/advertising truck when becoming a dealer for a discounted rate? Ontario IS the largest and most populated province... *wink wink*

I contacted Maxtrac about Canadian distributors, Tiger performance is their Canadian retailer. I emailed them and they didn't take too long to respond.

Did you end up ordering and/or installing a kit yet?? Curious how it rides and how close the alignment came up front? I lowered my 4th with a 2/4 set up and the rear end bottomed out hard too often I NEEDED rear air helpers... I don't want to do that to my 5th .. I kinda like buttery smooth factory ride.. but... I'm getting nose bleeds way up there!! A 3/4 would do well.. possibly a 5" rear if it'll be "ok" ..

No I didn't order, I was inquiring about the 2" rear drop to level it out with the front. After asking Tiger Performance for a price, they came back and said they had no part listed for the 5th gens.

I contacted Maxtrac about this, and they came back and told me that the 5th gen 2" rear kit is actually a 4th gen kit that one of their vendors is selling as a 5th gen kit.

They don't have a rear 2" drop yet. They also told me the coils on the 5th gens are larger than the 4th, so they didn't know how using this 4th gen kit would affect payload. So I just held off for now. But I really want to get it done.

From what our customers tell us, the kits ride good at 2"/4" and I haven't had anybody tell us they bottom out. However, when the struts are adjusted to 2" of drop, the trucks do not align 100% into spec. they are slightly off. We really haven't had anybody complain about it and you can add a upper arm to correct it, but we want to be up front about it.

You are correct we have a vendor that sells the 09-18 Ram 1500 2" rear drop coils for the 19+ models but we do not know how that affects payload as the coils are a much larger diameter on the 19+ models. As of right now we do not have anything in the works for 2" coils on the new trucks but I'm sure at some point we will develop some as the demand is there for sure.
