What are people getting as a percentage off MSRP?

You should have continued shopping by going to various dealerships. It’s well documented on this site that those members who walk out and go to another dealership (if the deal isn’t right) are the ones who get the best discounts off MSRP. If you own a home, I’ll bet you didn’t purchase the first you one looked at...it should be the same for the second largest investment in your life. Like all dealerships (Ford, GM, Ram), prices will vary based upon their sales goal attainment for the month, management ROI, and attitude of the sales manager doing the deal.

I'm seeing that in this thread. Wish I had done so. They just kept telling me I'm being unreasonable and unrealistic and that they are bringing it down $10,000 already on a fully loaded truck as he said. I hate dealing with the whole salesman, pricing/negotiating ****. I work construction for a living. Not this retail B.S.

2019 Power Wagon. $69,200 MSRP, marked down to $54,300. Worked on the deal, including shopping numerous dealers and asking them to match or beat the price, for two+ months. I think I came out pretty good overall especially on a Power Wagon.

Got almost the same exact deal... MSRP $52900 sold at $37800. And looks like we got the same exact truck, down to the color!
Yeah, damn close! Mine's the North Edition with RamBoxes. Looks like you got some nicer wheels and running boards. I just love these trucks! I don't know how anyone justifies buying a Ford or GM truck other than blind brand loyalty.

How many in this thread traded in a vehicle?
A lot of times they look at making a few grand off the trade and lower the price of the new vehicle?
Those with a high 25 percent or higher off msrp was that a straight purchase?

I negotiate purchase price, then trade in value separately. My ram was bought for $31k, they paid $1500 fair value for my trade, balance due was $29500 before tax.

The only time doing it the other way worked for me was buying a Toyota. Little flex in purchase price with Toyota so I made them overpay for my trade to make the deal.

I traded in a 2017 Rebel for my 2020 Laramie. Trade-in brought $33.5k, the Laramie MSRP was just shy of $59k. Price I got it for was $50k. So about 14.5% off retail. I definitely could have gotten a better deal if I would have bought off their lot, or gone with a leftover 2019. And I bought it a week before they started the employee pricing. But this truck had everything I wanted so I went ahead with the deal. This color wasn't even on my radar, but I really like it. No regrets here.

How many miles were on your 17 rebel at trade in? Nice looking truck with the sport package and I really love that color too. Bet it looks nice in the sun as well.

At my dealer today for the first oil change in my 19 Laramie and the twin to your's was setting on the floor, about $59K Laramie in blue. I'm not a fan of blue on vehicles but I must admit that is was a striking color setting under the dealership lights.

Nice truck!!

Just negotiated an eco diesel with msrp of 54,550 down to 42,550.
That’s about 22 percent. Pretty sure I’m taking it home tomorrow if they don’t pull any **** when I get there.
Luckily they are only 20 minutes from me.

Great looking color. I’m going with granite since I’m getting the blacked out night edition.

65 sticker down to 53.
2020 Laramie Night Edition with the Laramie 2 package, power runners, and multi-function tailgate. Maybe could have got them down another grand or 2 but they went about 300 miles from NY to PA to get the truck I wanted.

I'm trying to get a '20 Longhorn, but looks like I'll need to order it since the package setup I want doesn't exists on lots. Best one dealer could find was one with 15 out of 19 package items within 700 miles. Wow, not good enough and I'm tired of putting up with getting 1/2 the truck I want, so this is a big deal for me. Total should be stickered at about $69,500. So far I've been able to negotiate $9,000 off before incentives (fingers crossed their are good incentives from FCA at time of delivery, probably around April if ordered soon.) Trying to decide how hard I want to work other dealerships in the area. So far the two others I've tried don't even want to talk special order.

Not as good as most of you but I am happy. Probably the easiest buying experience I’ve ever had. I have to admit I like my local small town dealer. I’ve driven probably 8 to 10 trucks since mid 2018 before I pulled the trigger.

2019 2500 Bighorn 6.4 Hemi with some options 53110 MSRP down to 44956 before licensing fees. My dealer found me a truck equipped how I would order it: Granite crystal, Level 1 equipment, sport appearance, 4.10 gears, anti spin rear differential, remote start, auxiliary switches, all weather floor mats, and VSIM.

I purchased my 2019 1500 Tradesman in Novemember 2019. The sticker was 40,900 and I paid 33,000 out the door and they put running boards on the truck. Considering they had to travel 9 hours to get the truck I wanted I think it was a fair deal.

Just picked up my 2019 3500 Limited yesterday. Sticker was $85K and I bought it for $66K...so...23% off sticker. Extremely happy with the deal!
