Does anyone make like a cargo net or something for the bed?

I'm going to be putting a bed mat and tri fold bed cover on my 2019 RCSB, and would like something in the bed that limited how far cargo could go. Like say going to the grocery store, something that kept the stuff from sliding all the way back and having to crawl into the back to get everything that went all over the place. Maybe limiting it to say a foot or so beyond the tail gate, but not permanent.

I don't really like having to pile up grocery bags in the passenger side floor, or trying to put them behind the back seat.

Yeah look up a bed extender! They fold in so you can put stuff at the tail gate and if need be fold it out and use your tailgate as extra bed space

I have 2 things. A 2"x 6" piece of lumber cut to fit in those bed side slots. I also have a ratcheting bar divider I found at Tractor Supply. I can put that at various spots in the bed horizontally and vertically. Then you can get milk crates or tubs to put stuff in.

I did notice there was a bit of a slot in the bed sides that one could put something there as a stop of sorts after the wheel wells, or before if looking from the tailgate area. I may look at that. I just need a cheap and easy to remove fix, nothing elaborate. Thanks for the input.

Here's my system. I bought a tailgate net meant for midsize trucks so it fits up inside the bed. I also use an adjustable bungee strap and run it through the handles of grocery bags. Works pretty well. No more cans of food at the front of the bed. IMG_20191008_184641.jpg

Yeah, you know what I mean. Keeping those bags up front.

I was going to take it upon myself this summer to build a removable box that sits up against the tailgate for holding groceries and the like there.
I've been throwing them in my toolbox but I'm thinking of getting back into mobile work and out of the shop, in which case my toolbox will be full of tools again.
But if you have a cover on your bed I like the idea bryce88 posted.

$14 from Harbor Freight and you mount it anywhere you want inside your bed as its got a ratchething mechanism to adjust its length.

This is similar to what I got. I was surprised how inexpensive it was when shipped for it. It's a no brainier. Although the hunk of wood is effective for groceries, I found it to be limiting to the few positions in the bed, and did not leave enough room for some of my coolers and milk crates.

I have one of those too, worth every penny. I haven't really used it for awhile though, although the other day I did use it to hold up the roof in an RV while I rebuilt the wall!

I added a adjustable cargo bar from Keeper and 2 totes from Home Depot. Set up works fantastic and very convenient to carry groceries to the house in the totes.

I went the expensive route with the amp bed extender because it's handy to have 8' of box space and I put fairly heavy stuff in the back and figure my tool box might tip over a 2x6 on the rougher roads, but really the 2x6 in the slots is the cheapest fix. Also, when I get groceries I grab cardboard boxes whenever I see one on the shelf thats empty or close to it instead of bags. Just keeps the groceries packed tighter and stays in place a lot better in the back vs bags.

The OEM bed extender and HF cargo bar make the ultimate grocery getter.

Keep in mind I have a camper shell.

In the driver corner I also have a generic bungee net that works well too.d05bbc69db10972b8a8111051eb9498e.jpg
