Looking for advice for a leveling kit for the 2019 Ram 1500 4x4 Bighorn. Wanted to know the pros and cons since this is the first time I leveled a truck. Thanks

Any leveling spacer will stiffen the front suspension. Some people will say it rides rough others like myself don't notice much of a change or like a little stiffer ride. You are going to get people say rough country is junk. I disagree, I've used their products for years with zero issues. The most popular way to level, also more costly is using the bilstein adjustable shicjs/struts. These give you the ability to adjust the height up to 2.8" I believe and retains a smooth ride. I have no personal experience with this kit so can't comment on the ride quality.

I've leveled my last three Ram 2500s with Tuff Country 2.0" spacer levels. They worked well and while the front end got a bit stiffer (stock springs, stock shocks) it wasn't really that noticeable.

The only thing to remember with some spacer levels is that it's a good idea to check the bolt torque after the first 100 - 150 miles after installation and then do it again every 3K miles just to insure nothing is coming loose.

I'd not hesitate to install one of their kits in any truck.

I did quite a bit of reasearch and ended up with the rough country spacer that goes inside the strut, not on top. I found that he spacers that go on top of the strut assembly generally should be accompanied with upper control arms. If I were to spend more I would have definetly gone with the Mopar 2" kit. This RC spacer lifted the front of my truck 2" measured.

After talking with some people and reading a bunch of the posts I'm getting mixed results....some people are saying that the quality of the ride after the leveling kit doesn't change but some are saying it's completely different after installing the kit. Any thoughts out there? As always thanks for your time and assistance with this.

Honestly I believe it's all personal feeling of the truck. You are not going to get a black and white answer. It's going to be, didn't notice a change, slight change or definitely changed. That's with using a spacer. The bilstein adjustable shocks/struts will be more black and white with responses. It'll be didn't change or rides better. From what I remember on my 1500 I don't think it changed very much, on my 2500's it stiffened the front end up a decent amount, but I like a firmer suspension, stuck just seemed too soft.
