Hello everyone. My Ram 1500 is missing its tool kit. I see them for sale on Amazon, but the reviews are all pretty bad.

I need both a jack and something to lower the spare. I found a Dorman handle kit is available. I'd like to think their quality would be ok.

Maybe buy the Dorman for the handle and then get a bottle jack or trolley jack? Any thoughts on this?

What I would dfo is check in with the local auto recycler (junk yard) or UPullIt yard and find the kit there taken from a wrecked truck.

As far as the handle it may also be with the OEM kit at the recycler.

A bottle jack would probably need a block to put under it to get the right height and keep it from sinking in soft ground. I personally prefer a HiLift jack and carry one of those with me at all times.
