I was just curious. growing up, almost every one of our mopars had 225 or 318s. but that was then. Now with motors tripling the output of a 225 for relatively cheap, I wasn't sure how much demand there was for slant 6 parts. I have a shelf full of hard parts that I've been trying to give away on CL. Not even one response from a spammer or a Nigerian prince. I hate the thought of throwing out useable parts but if no one wants to use them I might have to.

Am I just waiting for a unicorn at this point?

You can take some of those slant 6 parts to a swap meet and maybe have some luck.I owned a couple of slant 6 cars and really like them. But most of those old cars and vans that used them are parted out crushed and gone I imagine.

One of my favorite cars was a 1970 Dodge Dart "Swinger" with a slant 6 and 3 on the tree.
Wish I still had it.
I've had several slant 6 cars in the past. Even had a dreaded Plymouth Volare. LOL

I was trying to repress all those memories. My dad called me the slant-6 kid. As a teenager, at one time I had 9 slant-6 engines in the garage. Our garage was an old 1930's auto repair shop. I could swap one of those out in no time. I had to give everything away when I moved away form home. I also had a couple spare 318s, 383s, one 361 HO, and a 440.

I lead a repressed childhood :) Just wish I still had some of that iron, and cars to go with it.

Had a 1970 Dart swinger with slant 6, black vinyl roof and that weird greenish paint. Then a 75 Duster. Then yes, a dreaded Volare, powder blue. Each one, I kept wishing I had a 318 in it, then bought another slant six... Then finally landed in a 1972 Chrysler Newport 2 door with a 383. What a ride!

the people that want a slant6 are far and few between. most usually just go with the small block because it was more common and easier to find parts for. could try posting on one of the slant 6 forums or other dodge forums to see if there is any interest.
