Rear adj control arms are fully Tig welded, use SPC sealed flex joints. Next set will be adjustable while on the truck.

Was going to build a 12” true lift kit, but the major knuckle company that makes knuckles for all of the lifts, quoted me at $25-$30K just to make the sand castings. I’m not paying that, also once I saw how tiny the factory 1500 front diff is, I decided to pull the axles, and install superduty straight axles.
Bought this 2007 super duty frame and axles for $500.

Cleaned up the front dana 60, cutt off all mounts, and made a truss and welded it on. Still have to buy new calipers, rotors, and ceramic brakes.
Very happy with the results from the previous rusted state.

Fabbing up lower control arms mounts, and upper control arm mounts that will be welded on top of the truss.
Still need to fab up a raised trac bar mount, and make a heavy duty tie rod.

Got the rear axle cleaned up, have to cut off leaf spring mounts, Fab up a truss, and weld it on along with upper and lower control arm mounts and raised trac bar mount.
Had to build walls and a ceiling at my shop, so I can run a space heater so I don’t freeze my ass off. so progress has been slow.

Welded on dana 60 upper and lower control arm mounts I made to the axle. Tig welded one upper control arm, and installed it for test fit. All (4) front control arms will be adjustable while mounted on the truck, fully Tig welded, sealed from elements with a rubber boot covering the joint, and joints flex 10° more than Johhny joints that require regular greasing. I am fabbing my arms from 2”OD 1/4” Wall DOM tubing.
