not my cup of tea
I was more thinking of the interior, GM has been way off there before.

The new Tahoe gets the Mercedes "standing screen" that I do not like!

Indipendet rear suspension

Independent rear suspension on a vehicle that USED to be based of of the 3/4 ton platform...?

I don’t like that.

Chevy is ruining the last true truck chassis SUV.

WOW, has GM got it this time :O

Looks about the same as the 2015-2020 models, the same drivetrain too(except for the diesel) and could be yours for the low, low price of $90K................$1200 a month car payments anybody? GM and Ford have gone off their rockers with these prices the last few years. GM will probably go bankrupt again within the next 10 years.

Why the original H1 had a four wheel independent suspension, not really an even comparison but hard to say they've ruined it.
The bigger ***** is why isn't Ram produced something to complete with this? I'd be real tempted to buy a Ram that was like the Suburban.

Yeah I would love to have a Ramcharger that looked like my truck and had basically the same interior, powertrain(minus cam/lifter problems)etc. More especially if it was in a similar price range.

The H1 was an off road vehicle.

A 3/4 tone Chevy is NOT. It is a work truck. Work trucks need solid axles.

To each his own I guess.

And there is always an ongoing debate of solid axle versus independent suspension for Off Road.

Why would you want a Cheby as a work truck? ...lol
There is a reason you don't see many tow trucks built using a Chevy truck..their frame sorta suck.

From a SUV standpoint it will make the Tahoe/Suburban ride a lot nicer. My boss drives an Expedition that has 4 wheel independent suspension, it does ride nice.

I don't think we are conclusive yet, but imo the early answer is redline si-1 looks promising, and others do not. Did you see the youtubes, we discussed this before and posted youtubes and Corey picked up the test, early signs showed great cleaning, but subsequent test failed, so he will pick it up again this year to my knowledge. Since he is the man with a boroscope and the talent and know how, I'm waiting for his results. I know the only place to see those results is here, as BITOG now bans people who aren't in their sewing circle, lol. Boobs, not bobs.

I think the clear consensus is process over product,, if you run sea foam through vac lines and let it sit, clearly that is the best way to clean combustion chamber, then run si-1 for injectors over time. There is a little risk this way, as in fouled plugs and maybe some CAT damage, but imo this is the way to go. The question becomes at what mileage do we think this should be done, how often is modern gas gumming up our junk.

I'd probably wager a good sea foam interval somewhere between 30k and 60k miles, and best time to do it would be before plug change. Thoughts on this fellas?

yes ive been reading about coreys tests. I do like redline si-1, but i was just looking for a decent otc product to help clean it out a bit. this is our first oil change since buying the truck. so i want to start cleaning things out. I agree, process is most important. This go around ill run QSUD in it with wix xp filter for probably 4k miles. Gonna do a uoa of current oil and then one at next change. It is coming up on needing plugs. ill be doing that along with new fluids this spring/summer when it warms up or i get a house with a garage.

I do love this truck. with the awd its the perfect vehicle for the wife. well....that is until we just found out baby #3 is on the way. Kind of changes things a bit size wise. time will tell with that. not jumping to a suburban or yukon xl yet.

It's the dumbest business model anywhere, make chevy vehicles and slap a GM sticker on it and have shops right next to each other, lol. Double the bills to sell the same product. They will go bankrupt every decade from here on out.
