I have a 2017 Ram- I can open the door intermittently with the programmed button. Other times it won’t work at all. It shows transmitting on the console but nothing is happening. Any suggestions? Still under warranty so may take it in. also, park sensors go off ALL the time, any suggestions? The dealer has replaced multiple ones to no avail...

I have yet to get the Homelink in either of my RAMs to work with my Geni garage door openers. I gave up a few years ago and use the transmitters that came with the openers that clip on the sun visor. Oh ya, been to the dealer several times over this issue, all they tell me is they send a signal and are working as they should be.

As far as the park sensors, no issues outside of the occasional false positives due to snow, ice, or mud covering the sensor.

Homelink works my garage door opener/closer great with no problems since 2016. Same with my daughter's 2015 Grand Cherokee.

I have to admit I had trouble initially to get it to work but it was my own fault for not following the garage door opener instructions on how to remote link it.

I also use a Homelink switch to operate a remote switch/relay to operate another device.

I cleared again this morning and re-programmed. It worked after about the 3rd time I pushed the button. Every time I push it, it states transmitting- I’m not sure if it is or not. Any idea where the signal is transmitted from?

Are any LED lights on your trucks or door openers or even outside garage lights? LEDs will disrupt the signal send receive commands. I had all three with LEDs and removed them from the opener and mine started working most of the time..

Good news for the both of you, they make garage door opener safe/compatible LED lights.
I have ones from Torchstar in my garage door opener and can open the door from the street just like normal incandescent bulbs.

Make sure you have LED bulbs that are garage door opener safe, otherwise they will destroy the circuit boards inside the opener.... I work daily with a large garage door company and say it’s one of the biggest problems they have with garage doors. They recommend not to use them period.

Not suppose to use them either, just plain old incandescent bulbs only.
