So I need to paint my Western Haul bed .. I want to paint it withbed liner. but I want to bruch or roll it.
& Since I'm getting old. I will need to paint maybe one side one day & then the other side maybe 6 days later . It's going to take a while to paint because I'll be slow. SO i'LL SAND & CLEAN One section at a time. .
Now will the TSC, tractor supply co. Bed liner patch or stick . To it self . Or to ask a different way. Can I paint a section & wait a week or 2 & paint another section & paint over the old Bed liner finish & It stick to the older finish ..
... .
....... Now I sold DuPoint Paint at my part store for 30 years .. SO I ain't no rookie .. But I understand some products have a window of time.
.

Being that bed liner paint is more like a brush on rubber coating, wherever you leave off folling it on may have some less than desirable seams and effect durability.

Unless available money is the deciding factor on doing it yourself, check into having the bed liner sprayed on(Rhino or Line-X). The cost is probably not as bad as you think and it will be a lot more durable than a do it yourself bed liner.

Friend of mine was trying to save money, and did this roll on bedliner product on his ford. It looked OK, for a year then started to peel off in hunks. It also became very dull looking. In the end it just looked like crap.
