Since both 1500/2500 have jacks in the same place I figured I’d post this for all 5th Gen folks.
Geeking out over new 2500 I was sitting in truck looking at the manual and cool features when I thought, “hey where are the jack and tools located?”.
I found the passenger seat cover and removed it to find 4 broken tabs and no jack or tools and 4 strips of yellow factory tape wrap sitting under the seat.
Im not suggesting a factory trend or anything. But everyone may want to check. I’m curious if anyone is missing anything. It has the tail gate wire secure piece, and a hitch sleeve. I hope I’m not missing anything else.
Likely taken by someone at the dealer or transport, distribution yard or something. The truck was freshly unloaded and I bought it with 8.2 miles on it. I drove it home 3 hours and it’s sat secured.
Dealer is tiny with 2 salesman, a secretary and 7 mechanics.
Salesman felt awful ordered a set and will send it.
Disappointing and odd.
