Ok so i just wanna update my last post! The lady at UPS i talked to on the phone was an idiot. Thankfully the import cost was $285 for all 3 boxes not $285 each plus tax! I feel much better about that price.

Sounds like tool money to me!

That's a bit of a drive then, lol. I've done a couple of the relocation brackets,so was gonna offer up a hand if you were closer,i'm in Alberta,so that kind of rules out giving you a hand, lol.
Yeah that is quite the drive, thank you tho! I am hoping to start next thursday or friday if not it will have to wait a couple weeks! My dad and our mechanic buddy is going to help me! He has a hoist next door to my dads that we can use!

Update: looks like at some point I'll have to put 40 series tires on the front as my 305/45 just rubs on the rear portion of the plastic inner fender well. probably a 285/40-22: more to follow....

hey I am curious about how you cut your springs in the rear did you do the same rotations on both or did you do an extra on the passenger side? I was told to do 3 on driver side and 3 1/2 on passenger? Not sure if this to make up for fuel?

I did the same on both ( 1 3/4 coil)

Only things I'm re-using from the old drop project are the Hellwig front and rear sway bars (the rear being a 2500 bar much larger than the standard 1500 bar), they performed flawlessly, and the dude that did my alignment.

Do you have any details on the 2500 rear sway bar swap?
Did you have a rear bar on the white truck to start with?
Did you reuse the brackets/bushings from the 1500 or the 2500?
Were you able to use the factory holes on the axle or did you have to drill new holes to mount the bar?

The truck had no rear sway bar. I bought the 2500 rear sway bar and used the hardware it came with and some additional hardware I had laying around. I did buy the aluminum plates off ebay....ended up being the perfect size. I did have to measure them and drill the holes. Otherwise it was quite simple. I uploaded a pic of the measurements a while back; is it still showing?

Anyway, its been running strong all these years which is the best news!
