No BS....I submitted my request for reimbursement about 10 days ago. Received an email asking for my invoice. Got an email no more than 5 minutes after I submitted my invoice saying it had been approved and that a check was in the mail.

I don't know. I don't think I did anything different than anyone else. I think it's just luck of the draw. While I'm happy I got what I got....it's still not the correct way for FCA to handle it.

Just so y'all don't think I'm making it up, here is a copy of the email. It was actually 4 days ago that I submitted my request. Wish y'all the best of luck
I'm replacing my drag link next week. I plan on submitting for reimbursement.

I still haven't addressed this.
I think I'm on my third "urgent" notice at this point. I've just routinely crawled underneath and kept an eye on it.
So far, nothing. But I've only got 6k miles on my truck.
Waiting as long as possible to see how this whole thing plays out.

It's been hit or miss. MANY have had the claim denied but it does seem they are starting to pay them again after denying them for the past 6 months. Proceed at your own risk knowing you could eat that cost. It's not 100% that they will pay it.

You can have them do a booger weld, or try to get them to give you a 2019 Drag Link...

or, take your chances with the superior steering component that won't look like this:

That was never welded? It broke at the threads? Any impact or outside effects? That is scary?

Yeah, that picture has Nothing to do with the issue of the thread tolerance. Looks to me like it's a lifted truck and judging by all the bracing etc. it gets run pretty hard. My guess is he doesn't have a drop steering arm or limit straps and went beyond the range of motion of the drag link. You can see where it started to bend before it snapped. Definitely bound up.

You'd be wrong.

Also, it's a PW, doesn't need "drop gimmicks"

It broke on this. Does that look beyond the range of motion?
It's just a weak ****** design. Folds over like a pretzel.

You can see it’s bent after the adjuster. That was most likely from an impact like dropping a wheel to hard.

Did you already have the old drag link welded by chance?
