Even better would be to remove it completely, although black is better than chrome.

That's a great look too, just the ram badge and some 5" black tips, looks great! Awesome color as well, have always loved that orange.
Generally I debadge nearly everything as well but I really like the look of the new style sport badge, looks much better than any of the badges I've taken off of my 4th gens.

I like the new one. I also prefer debadged but I like that new font.
only thing that would drive me nuts if it was my truck would be the mismatched “4x4” font on the tailgate.

don't much matter what ya do to a truck some will compliment it and those who don't seem to feel obligated to say so. I think the letters go good with the rest of your truck just fine. My sport is Brilliant black and I believe the black letters would be fine on mine as are the existing emblems and wheels. Not worth doing to my truck as the existing black emblems don't hardly show up any way.

Says the guy who voices his opinions every single time about others trucks (I.e. anytime anyone posts about fender flares and how much you dislike the look of them) when it suits his viewpoint, it’s okay though.
it’s a forum and the dude posted his pics. If he didn’t care about opinions why’d he even post?
I never said it looked bad or trashed his truck. I think the sport emblem looks nice. But there’s just something about the 4x4 from the 4th gen that I don’t like next to it that’s all. I’d debadge that one or get the ever-so-slightly less edgy 4x4 from the same Gen as his sport badge.

Looks great, I put the black 5th gen Canadian sport emblem and the 5th gen 4x4 emblem. I also repositioned them to the lower corners.
