12.1" radio

So i preordered my radio from Phoenix radio the Monday before black Friday. I got it installed the day before yesterday and it is awesome. I have had a couple small issues. I have contacted Phoenix on a couple different occasions and they have answered me every time so far. These are my pending issues. Small but irritating and off course they are closed today.

So my issues do far are
1. My remote start everything lights up but it don't start

2. The red and gray plug in don't fit rendering my top switches useless when it comes out taped in place now. They are saying fix coming soon

3. My downhill assist is gone they said it decoded it fix coming soon (never used so willing to wait)

4. My backup alarm isn't working

5.i have to reset the clock every time i start my truck. It's 1 hour off every time i start the unit back up
And getting replies for help seem to be getting more and more difficult.

I am working with them on these issues they have been helpful with the install questions so far so im hopeful lol
Thought i would share I'll keep this updated with findings

They make some radio then sell it to the public and make you the consumer the test dummy to improve their product. I would rip that out of my truck and get my hard earned money back from them. That is a worthless head unit

Well so far I'm liking it and so far they are being helpful. Im hoping i don't have to take it back out.

Install looks great. Here's hoping they get all of the software issues figured out because that thing looks awesome.

It is very awesome. The picture is just freaking baffling on my camera's. I talked to another guy who has one it's working flawless. Another guy says they sent him an update on another kind of truck and been 2 years trouble free. Im hoping they get it figured out. I already love it lol. The fit and finish just look great. Really upgrade fron my factory tradesman radio lol

Aren’t there countless posts on these radios with ongoing issues????? They look cool, prices isn’t too bad, but ALL are a headache.

Looks good,hope it works out for you.Love the way you can see your truck on the screen,probably could add the 360 degree camera now.Gotcha thinking now lol,$$$$ lol I notice you lost your upper cubby with it.I was going to get a dash matt like yours or similar but got one custom made from leather.

It depends on where you look. I seen lots of good and lots of bad as i do with anything i research. This is supposed to be an upgraded version. I have already talked to several folks who got it and are very pleased. I feel it's probably line anything else first model. May be some kinks to work out. As long as Phoenix keeps in touch and helps I'll be good. It's frustrating but I'm hopeful lol

I am hoping to figure out how to put my truck on the screen. That is just the splash screen that was on it lol. I could add the 360 but i didn't want it. While i was waiting on it i added a front camera and already have a rear camera. That's good for me lol. I wish i had got a better dash mat this one isn't cut straight so it don't look great but i haven't got around to getting a different one yet. To many other things on my mind lol
This is my truck I'm hoping to put on the splash screen if i can get this thing working good

Must be nice not to have 2 dash destroyers, I can only imagine what their nails would do to that screen haha

Thought i would update.
My remote starter had decoded itself i guess from the battery being unhooked all night.
I got that fixed.
And the clock issue is fixed as well
I have been working with Phoenix almost daily on the other issues.
Stereo is still working great. And they reply everytime i message them. They are saying might need an update.

Any more updates? I have one as well and have fitment issues. I get a reply back about once a week so support has been less than stellar. I have the console and the adapter shape clearly does not match the consoles. I also have a button sticking issue using their adapter.

They look so cool hopefully they eventually get so the bugs worked out. I really debated getting one when I upgraded but just didn’t want to deal with the problems even if they’re small.
