Need some help. I got the blistein 5100 put on today. My before measurement was 36 inches to the top of front wheel well and the rear was at 39. Set them on the six ring which per the instructions should’ve been a 2.2 inch lift.

Well the front is now setting at 40 and the rear at 39. Do they settle that much?
It is on a 2019 Ram classic slt. I did a vin look up and it doesn’t say anything about the off-road package which was the only thing that I could think of.
Any help would be Appreciated.

Unless they changed them, there were only 5 ... Stock or 0”, 0.7”, 1.4”, 2.1”, and 2.8” ... Might wanna make sure they installed the bottom spring seat correctly

I’m gonna run by the shop and grab the paperwork and try to verify that they were the right part in the first place.

I ordered them through Nick at gotexhaust and they drop shipped from Blistein. I’m almost positive they had seven rings but I’ll double check and post back.

The spring seats are setting in there correctly, with the cone going up. The spring itself is sitting on the spring seat correctly.

The only thing I can’t visually check is the spring seat adapter over the circlip but from looking at the instructions I don’t think it would’ve went over the Circlip if it would’ve been put on upside down.

I don’t know if anyone else is even paying attention to this thread but I’ll update it anyway. Apparently Gen 5 Blistein B8 5100s (model 24-232203)will bolt onto a gen 4 truck. And at the 2.2 setting or ring six will give you 4 inches of lift on your front end. Hoping to hear back from Nick to get this ironed out.

Edit not sure how I missed your info about the truck. Those 5100s are not the proper ones for your truck.

Nick is on the ball and should help you figure this out.

Following, because I am looking to get a set for my 2014 and I will likely talk to Nick about getting them. Let us know what you find out.

Nick and I have been in contact. It was a bit of miscommunication on both ends. Sounds like we’re gonna be able to get something figured out.
Not going to lie, I was stressing out until I figured out why the lift amount was off so much.
I did contact Bilstein and asked if I could just adjust the setting and use the gen 5 shocks. They would not give me that blessing. There is a small difference in the extended and collapsed measurements.
