I am so friggin pissed. FCA should be ashamed. With only 32,000 miles on my 1500 Bighorn Crewcab my ram has been perfect!!!! No friggin problems ( except a battery failure covered under 3/36 warranty). :D

Well everyone says that nobody complains unless something is wrong so let me be the 1st...:33:

I had my truck for a month now. 1750 perfect miles so far. Starting a new job on Monday so the rapid mileage climb should slow. Going 26 miles round trip per day instead of 70.

my 2500 reliability improved dramatically when I stopped checking the 4th gen forum so often. after several months of staying on the 1st gen forum, every click wasn't a hemi tick, my misbehaving stereo was just that, the rear end clunk was just my LSD catching up, my 32 gallon tank reading out as empty even when not became 'personality'.

compared to my old Tundra, this thing is solid. I'd get another Ram, personality and all, any day.

My 2018 Eco Diesel has 38k and it's been all without issues. Love my ED!

Had my truck (bought it used, even!) for a year-and-a-half now. Just a hair's width shy of 36,000 miles (And the end of the factory B2B warranty). Zero issues save for one - the Active Grille Shutter (which was likely caused by an owl that creamed the grille in front of it and spewed feathers everywhere up in there back when I barely had the thing for two weeks, but the dealership was 1000% okay with replacing it under warranty anyway. That was back in 2018.)

Damned thing is more comfortable a ride than the old Chrysler T&C minivan I used to drive (and way more comfortable a ride than the missus' Kia Soul... urgh.)

Well had a 2007 1500 Thunder Road 4.7 I bought brand new. Hated the 4.7 but had no issues with it other than no power. At about 12,000 miles they replaced the pitted rotors under warranty and replaced tie rod ends under warranty that were worn out. Traded that in at about 45,000 miles in 2013 for a 2013 1500 5.7 that I traded this past May with 67,000 miles. No issues other than battery going bad after about 3 years and broken exhaust manifold bolts right before I traded it. My 2018 2500 has been flawless through 5000 miles so far.

My step-father had a 2008, 2011, 2014, and now a 2017 1500's and has never had a problem with any of them and my step-son has had a 2010, 2015 and now a 2019 and no issues with any of those.
Forgot to add my son has a 2018 2500 identical to mine. Put about 22,000 miles on it so far since late July and no issues. And about 3500 of those miles was towing an 8500lb camper

Kudos to the ones that will run headers.I used to run them long ago.Got sick of the gasket burnouts and loosened bolts and hi heat.I know some issues have improved but for a daily driver I get a knot in my gut everytime I think of headers. If I need a bolt repair I'll do better bolts and resurface the factory manifolds.

I've had my truck almost 2 years now. It's a '14 and had about 73,000 miles on it when I got it. I just turned over to 94,000 today and the only issues I've had to address were having a water pump replaced and the driver's side manifold bolts replaced, both under the powertrain warranty. Other than that it's just been regular maintenance. I absolutely love this truck!! I plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off lol.

My 13 ram went about 120k before the water pump bearing wore out.

2017 Laramie CC 4X4 Hemi, and I love it! Been an outstanding weekend adventure rig, and on occasion pulls the horse trailer. Sure the gas mileage is low, but sometimes ya gotta pay to play. One pleasant surprise is it fits in every under building garage I have tried, including the public library in downtown Seattle!

Hell I even enjoy the maintenance, pretty dang easy to change the oil and filters on my own

Any signs of when it was going bad?

I have 105K and I figure it won't be long.
Just a slight bearing noise and I checked for pulley freeplay and it was loose.About a month or two before I checked it and it was fine so they can go bad fairly rapidly it seems.

I had a mazda truck once with the 3.0 and even when I sold it at 218k miles the pump was good.I bought the truck at 24k miles. Then again I've had a pump go bad at less than 30k miles also with the bearing failure. My boss bought a new jeep 4x4,not the cherokee but a lower trim level model and the pump went out at 9k miles.Ya never know!

14' 3500 6.4, bought it in 2015. The only issue I've ever had out my truck was a tree branch fell during a storm and dented my door.

Got it repaired at Caliber Collision...still in love.

Have 19,500 on my 1500 Classic 6 cyl. running fine. Mainly highway driving, no towing. Only change I might have made was to get the 8 cyl.., Did it for the mileage but I don't think it would have been that much different. Getting around 20 MPG, little lower or higher depending on average. I read almost of the horror stories of some of the purchases of some RAM's before purchasing mine. Also read the Ford and Chevy sites so realized they all have had their share of issues. Always felt for them, must suck to keep going back to the dealer, just the time inconvenience along with everything else involved and then having to do it multiple times. Not hard to understand people pissed off. Most owners must be happy since they are selling these trucks like they are going out of style.....
