I just purchased some 2020 black 18 inch rebel wheels for my 2014 which are a 5 lug pattern and the rebel wheels are a 6 lug. Anyone tried this yet?

Why? With spacers they're going to extend beyond the fenders, I don't see this as a benefit.

1.5 is the minimum spacer I'd run. I have them and had to trim the nub at the end of the wheel stud off still. No threads or shortening of main body of the stud.

I believe anything less than a 1-3/4” spacer, and you’ll have to trim the stud length down ...

I have 10mm hub-centric ones on the way. You can use it on the stock set up. Bora makes them.

A local tire club (sucks) trimmed the lugs on my 2008, the nuts would never stay on tight after that, and the wheels would shake like hell! I wouldn't do it, no matter how cool it looks, you don't want a wheel flying off!

Can you? Probably. Your scrub radius will be compromised which will lead to some added effort in keeping the wheels pointed forward on uneven and rutted roads and bring the tires closer fore and aft to the body when turning, which increases the likelihood of rubbing if you're already pushing limits on tire size.

So should you? I think you'll end up spending quite a lot of money for no tangible benefit. I wouldn't. But if you just need the look to be satisfied it's your choice.

Thanks for the help. I decided not to go through with it. I figured it would be more of a pain in the ass than anything. Ended up going with the Toyo open country’s with the rebel 17’s 285/70/17
