I have a 2013 crewcab that I just installed the MOPAR integrated trailer brake module and used the AlfaOBD in limited success. I need some assistance.
After installing the ITBM (Integrated Trailer Brake Module) I was successful using the AlfaOBD to initiate the ITBM/HWM integrated trailer brake module. The next step, However, is where I need some assistance. I let the truck sit for a a bit and after returning 10 minutes later to set the next setting up in CustSetMenu-2 for Trailer Selected CSM, I got the message noted below. Same for Trailer Name CSM and Trailer Type CSM.
The message I received on the AlfaOBD was
“The option is not supported by the body computer modification.”
Anyone know how to get past this so I can activate these last 3 CSM settings so my tow brakes will work without a trip to the dealership?
