My Locksmith buddy recommends "Tri-flow" for any and all locks and intricate metal mechanisms. But we're where 15F is about the lower limit, maybe not so good where it's really cold?

I have the stant locking cap. From wally. Bigest problem. Is the limited space to manipulate the key. The 4th gen gas cap is very cramped. Agree its to keep people out.

I know what you mean, because of the angle of the fill tube it's a little tricky to get that key in there. I've been rotating the cap to the left so that it's in the best position to get the key in. Seems to work best with the key slot vertical and the indentation on the left. I still plan to get the updated fill tube that has less of a sharp angle.

I thought we already had that techical service update on the 2018 trucks. It came out to service the older models. It's not to bad with just the stock gas cap, its the key lock on the top of the cap that was making it harder for me to manipulate it to open it up.
