Looks pretty good for the price. They have good feedback no real complaints on the radiators as far as I can see and hell just about everything is made in China nowadays anyway unfortunately.

overflow tube points the wrong direction for a 80\90 truck if that is what you are getting it for. i really don't understand why thy only seem available for the 70's trucks and no one makes them for the 80/90's trucks. i got one of the Chinese ones in my 81 and it looks identical to the stock one that is in my 93

I have no constraints in terms of overflow tube details. everything is custom made anyway so I can deal with that.

Might give the radiator a try if the 3 row cooler out of my 73 doesn't pass pressure test, etc. It seems to be in great condition.

Also, is there any major differences between the ramcharger radiator vs the trucks? Rock auto lists a Spectra Premium HD cooling CU 71 that's a 3 row radiator. $400 though. When you look up the trucks they are the 1 row basic radiators for just about all years.

I'd be willing to spend the cash if the ramcharger rad fits the truck, as the truck will be daily driven in 110 degree California traffic.

aint that the truth. I paid extra for a Delco brake hose. When I unpacked it, it's labelled "sunsong". That brand was half the price. so I guess I paid double for a fancy Delco box.

i don't see why the cu 71 would be a 2 year only rad. it should be the same 79-91 span that the rest are good for. personally i would probably go for the solid aluminum rad over it especially with how much they cost. pretty sure i just bought the CU959 for my 81. i really not a fan of the plastic tanks on them but the one in my 93 looks nearly new still after 27 years. i can't say the same for the copper/brass rads that i have had. they always seem to be buldging or falling apart with age. plus with how cheap the rad was i figure i wouldn't go too wrong especially since it had a good brand name.
