Guildance lines gone

I have a 19 2500 hd that I Upgraded from Uaa 5” to 8.4 uam no nav from a 19 1500 ram now I lost the backup guildance lines from backup camera and my phone controls on steering wheel quit working My question is this something that needs to be activated in the bcm now or maybe switch backup camera to a 1500 camera .

Did you check the “setting” menu.... I think there is an option to turn them on/off.

Yes I did turn on in settings but the box unchecks itself after 5 seconds or so and I have no magnetfication

I just upgraded to the 8.4 inch radio and have the same issue. Did you ever figure it out?

open your beverage of choice & watch this video about the tailgate camera installation, The guy hits on just about everything you want to know about the camera

As for your steering wheel controls, the radio is what controls them, you may have a loose pin in a radio connection

If the camera worked before with the other radio, it may need to be reprogrammed
