Fully agree with all on this one. I have the B&M now. I added the MOPAR logo to the front cap. No options for color.
This one is spot on cool in the clear. It is also his best seller as they will not be back in stock until 5/1. Sure,,,,it is a lot of money to be spending on a shift knob. BUT,,,,,I like it. I want it. I am going to have it. Made in USA and CC machining just makes it more reasonable.

I don't mind the dail, I do miss my 08 column shifter though, I don't know where to rest my hand now...I guess on the steering wheel?

You mean that you’ll actually have your hands on the steering wheel?

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas.

This is how we have it in the Durangos prior to 2018
b4afc3e6cce7a8f6b50323f611bb5291.jpg

And it can be converted to this for about $350 if you can get a used T-shifter from for example the SRT Durango 2018 from ebay, otherwise i think the conversion using brand new parts is about $1000, and the auto stick doesn't work. (paddle shifters still work as normal so it wouldn't be a big deal) Granted, for what i've seen in Durango forums i'm not sure they know Alphaobd do exist, and i also have HPtuners which could perhaps do something about that as well assuming there is an option in there for it.

I just used a F150 for the past two days while my ram was in the shop again. I kept reaching for the knob instead of the column shifter. The truck was fun to drive with the ecoboost engine. I like my knob shifter, but I would give it up to for the F150, but my mom wanted her truck back.

I have a 2019 F150 also (work truck) I drive both trucks every day. Ford has column shifter. I prefer my Ram. So much so that I tell everyone that’s asks to get the Ram.

The people that like to use the other shifters to downshift, don't take into account that the 8spd shifts so good, you don't need to think for it, as it shifts great just left in D.

A little off the topic but related, I have the floor shifter for the four-wheel drive engage on the floor. I so wish I had that as a switch. I rarely use it, and it would be nice to not have that room taken up by that.

Just installed mine. The 19 rebel comes with an aluminum knob that weighs 2.8 oz. The new knob weighs 2.5 oz. I think the red screws goes well with the dash and I am pleased with it.

My opinion on this is the 8sp while far better than the 6sp still up shifts to fast and back shifts to slow.
I drive with my tow haul on allmost all the time so it will stay in gear longer and back shift faster. :)

That looks great! BTW that Rebel knob is better than the stock hollow plastic one on mine was, but the new one really pops!

That looks great! I bought the B&M knob literally the day after bringing my new-to-me Ram home. I hated the cheap plastic factory knob. The B&M is better but I'm not a big fan of the design. After I bought the B7M, I found AJT Design's billet knob in a Google image search. It is so much better than the B&M design. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I always forget about it until I hop into my truck and see the B&M knob.

Plus, the AJT knob is made by one guy in his shop in Michigan. I really want to support the small hometown manufacturers that produce unique parts and not some huge multinational company.

I really like the dial shifter.....it brings out my feminine side and allows me to better relate to my wife, daughters and granddaughters when discussing girl related chit.

Hey! My wife and I looked for over a YEAR to find HER 2011 2500 Cummins because it HAD to have a manual transmission!! She’s pretty cool...

Almost 3 years and still not used to it. I still reach for the column shifter. I’ve had a few mishaps due to the dial shifter and not a big fan.

All the disks in the area for me (express) are vert similar in feel especially when not paying attention 100%.
