I want to level my Rebel, I looked into doing spacers but I've read mixed reviews on it changing the articulation of the ball joints. I do off-road my truck, nothing too extreme like bouncing off rocks but she does get down and dirty.

Anybody have a setup that levels the front and I can continue to off-road my truck without fear of breaking over simple trails?

Also, could I get measurements with stock wheels and tires to the antenna? I want to continue to keep my truck in the garage.

Thanks! Any input is appreciated.

I don't know about longevity of suspension components, but Bilstiens 5100 adjustable ride height struts would be the best way to go.

I wonder how the ride quality is with it being “near” ride quality. Also I’m assuming you would have to remove the existing spacers that give it the 1” height higher than other trims.

My go to if I had the cash just laying around would be the King coil overs. But I’m gonna follow this thread to see if anyone has used these. Lol.

I am in same boat as I routinely take my rigs for real off-road adventures short of hardcore rock crawling but also use it as a daily driver. If you actually go off-road, the last thing you want is to install a spacer system (avoid the RL 3.5-inch systems). Also not a fan of drop bracket lifts as I want to keep the center of gravity relatively low when running across sand dunes or crawling slopes as well as maintaining the factory handling as much as possible. Plus, things break if you load them up too much.

I have used Fox, King, and Icon for my past builds with great success (higher speed desert/dune running and lower speed mountain trailing) but they are expensive and the higher end stages are just overkill for a 1/2-ton truck (but look cool). I found a really good compromise with the newer Falcon systems; retains the factory springs but can get up to 2.25-inches of front lift on the Rebel and fit up to 35-inch tall tires (assuming you keep the wheel offset within reason and tires under 12 inches wide). The new shocks match or better the factory ride but give much better off-road performance as well and price is reasonable if you shop around.

I am putting together a build thread once I get the system on (another week or so) but here is a quality video for some info on the system.

I’ve been looking at these. It’s nice to see them focusing on the rebel as there isn’t much like you said right now except king and they will put you back $2500.

Definitely going to follow your build thread as this is something I would rather have on mine.

I promise you truck will run harder and faster on Kings in the dirt :), but the Falcons will be a really nice upgrade over Bistein 5100's and even bigger over any spacer lift. Anything bigger than 1/2" spacers for your struts is BS on wheels especially when trying to go fast as the truck in the video. I know the Falcons back when they started selling for them in for the Jeep Wranglers and they became an instant attraction. They're not cheap as Bilstein 5100's for example but are a lot better that those. they're still no match for 2.5 body Coilovers and shocks performance and adjustability wise, but they're definetely a step in the right direction if you want to bash on the truck or have something more comfy when putting bigger tires. I consider those Falcons a nice entry level performance suspension and they should be a really nice upgrade over standard shocks. There are couple of dudes running them in the 4th gen trucks and they love them.

Here is another video i found for somebody else who was looking for something performance asides from spacers Do you have part number for the 5th Gen King shocks ? King website is not showing anything.

To my knowledge King hasn’t come out with the coil overs yet for 5th gen. I was going off how much their coilover systems are for the 4th gen. I originally saw Filthy Motorsports showed for 2009-2019 but they probably meant 2019 4th gen and didn’t say anything about it being for 4th gen only.
