Anyone else have a dead spot or a sense of defueling when accelerating? Mine does it after it’s at operating temp and has sat for 20 mins or so. Shifts from first to second in a defueled state and then it ”takes off” and then drives normal until I shut it off and repeat. Mds is shut off either in tow haul mode or manual mode.
Once it does it, it will not repeat until the next “warm start” and it runs fantastic.
I dunno. I created a thread a while ago about it and no one had any input. Can’t find any similar threads either.

Im off work for a while (Quarantine) and was going to call the dealership but I like to educate myself before going in.

I haven’t noticed anything, but I’m new to the hemi, drove 5.9 Cummins for the last 8 years before this.

That’s what I’m picking up from other local owners, no noticeable issues, but they all have 6.4 6 speeds. I came from a 6.7 ctd g56 and a 7.3 PS 6sp so I’ve been out of the big auto truck game haha

I’ll have to give my dealer a shout and see what they say tomorrow. Should be able to recreate. Thanks!

For me, the very first 1-2 shift of the day is longer and delayed. Same after it sits for a while.

After 1 year and 50000kms I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s normal.

I can't say that I've noticed this on my truck either but I haven't driven it that much since purchase. The 8sp shifts so much better compared to my last truck I'm not sure I ever will. Interested to hear what the dealer thinks.

I have noticed something similar but nothing drastic but I will definitely pay closer attention now. I have had it stall at an intersection a few times but it starts back up and is fine. Hasn’t done this in some time though. I will post if this occurs again. Let us know how you make out at the dealer. I have a 2019 2500 and have approximately 13000 miles.

Stalling at an intersection would cause concern if it were mine ;)
Oh it has trust me. Hasn’t done it in a while though. Next time it does it’s going to the dealer.

Hi @ToTheDarkSide & @Ram75 - If you do end up working with your dealers, please know that we are more than happy to get you connected with a specialist for an additional layer of support through that process. We are always a PM away.

Yes I've noticed it when I leave work...there's a right turn and then uphill. It does it going up hill. I keep pressing the gas and then its like it overcompensates and jumps forward.
