Can I gather everyone's thoughts on McGaughys 44055 vs Ground Force 91214?? I am interested in lowering the rear 2"s on my 2016 1500 4x4, and I have read mixed reviews online for both kits. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated on this subject. Thank you in advance for any and all help and opinions!

Yes, I tried to use the search function, but for some reason, it has not been working for me for about a week now...

There’s no mention of it being 2” arms and the kit doesn’t include any front springs

So what kit did ya get. Not a 4/6 if ya just got rear springs. Lol

I have the full Inez 4/6 and added the Hellwig sway bar. The Inez comes with upper and lower control arms , front end links, rear shocks springs and relocate brackets for pan hard and 4 link. So no front coils, just rear

Just thinking about this
My 4x4 that I plan on lowering, with a pieced-together spring drop kit, in the few weeks has something called a factory “raised ride height”
Did a internet search on Ram raised ride height and couldn’t get a clear cut answer if it was taller springs and/or something else
I understand stand that your INEZ kit drops the front using their control arms, no shorter springs/adjustable struts required for the 4” front drop
Just wondering maybe you have the raised ride height springs/struts from the factory working against the 4” control arm drop?
Just a thought.... I think it looks great, but expected it to be lower with the INEZ front drop

I wasn’t aware of that possibility. I previously was leveled with Bilsteins at the highest level and measured a little taller than most others with the same setup by over an inch. I was sitting at 39 1/2” with the bills. Inez says the front may settle about half an inch within 500 miles. I’ll keep my research going. And thanks. I like it but expect a 4” minimum drop considering the work involved and price payed for the kit.

There’s actual ton of write ups on this topic. General consensus is that it’s an additional 1” lift made possible by a different spring rate in the front coils. It’s apparently in the build sheet. All I have is my window sticker unfortunately

I totally hear you on the cost, hopefully you’ll get what you paid for
I’m adding stock height Rancho RS
999808 struts with the Belltech lowering springs, hoping for a tiny bit more than 2” in the front
I’ll definitely post up the results
Looking forward to see where you settle out- I really looked hard at the INEZ kit- just didn’t want to go much more than 2” in the front

I need to fix the camber on my truck. Going to have to pull the trigger on ihc kit, is there anything that should/must be added for a 4wd crew cab or is it going to be safe to run? I’ve already get airlifter bags
