Installed the Geno's grab handle kit a few days ago; worth it. They don't even wiggle a little bit now.

Wow exactly what I wanted, and I didn’t even know it existed!

Just curious, one of my fasteners seems to be slightly stripped. Not sure, but didn’t want to push it..

Will this kit help with that too?

No, if the bolt is stripped you'll have to fix that separately. All this kit does is reinforce the plastic (that likes to crack) where the bolt goes through.

Thanks for the reply.

I guess I’ll just try to have everything ready either way.

I painted my rear hubs as well as the hole that’s in the front hub.

I’m doing this because I’m going to be putting Alcoa wheels on the truck, and I want to leave the hubs exposed and use hug a lug nut covers.

Not sure if I’ll like it, but I can always put the Dodge hubcaps on if I don’t.

I also pulled the generator out and fired it up too, in case the zombies come. [emoji23]

So I got the wheels on today.

I like the hug-a-lugs. They go on really tight so I don’t think they’re coming off.

If one does they’re cheap and readily available.5286d7b5eda3dc436d77805d528af537.jpg

Did the rear axle seals on my third gen, it was pretty easy. Brake rotors were tough to get off but all went well. New seals, fresh 75w140 and 4oz of LSD additive. Also found out that my truck has the sot after 3.92 gears.

That baby looks like a good candidate for a blackout kit- headlight and tail light housings, cab lights, tailgate light and cargo light. :dancingpoop:

Has anyone bought the front bumper facia & have it fit properly? I got hit in front while parked, bought replacement parts off Amazon & all worked out fine except for the facia. Lazy a$$ me let parts sit in garage for 8 months before installing them, so it's to late to return it. So I'm wondering if anyone has gotten one from say, rock auto & it fit fine & I can buy another there. Here's a pic of the part I need. 81e43d1558bbcb382896aa1927f88815.png

I decided that my 3.7 was a wee bit too slow, so I decided to drop some of the dead weight

73a13a538d5c4ece2a8144da2bbbc970.jpg

Seriously though, removing the dash wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. By far the worst part was the GRAND ASSORTMENT of different connectors, each having their own unique way of locking and wasting my time. The dash alone took me about 3 hours, and a good chunk of that was spent looking for that stupid torx screwdriver i lost

A couple of funny things I noticed, one being that the recirc door disappeared entirely. I guess maybe it broke and the PO just dropped the blower motor to get it out. The second thing is my dash harness doesn’t exist on the 2006 parts manual. Its a base harness, but nonetheless I would imagine it would be on the parts manual. The third thing is, i watched a ton of youtube videos on removing the dash, and their airbag module was under the center of the dash in all of them. Mine, however, turned out to be under the center jumpseat. I’m not really sure why it was different, but wasnt that big of a deal since i already had those seats out anyways
