I have had a Retrax Jackrabbit model cover since I think it was 2014. It was on my 2012/2500 and now sits on my 2017/2500. Never an issue. Always liked the strength of the topper as well as the locking capability. Just got to open and close it every now and then to ensure the retention of the spring can close the top and roll it in with no problem. Install was easy.
