I have a 2018 Eco 1500 Laramie. I truly love the truck.

Back in January I noticed my coolant levels were dropping. I called the local dealer, they didn't have replacement parts. I called FCA, got a case number, that went no where. Local dealer called me back, said someone didn't show up for their appointment and I can use the parts that were ordered for them. Dropped my truck off, they lost it, then found it and made the repairs. Truck was gone fixed and returned in 36 hours. I will admit, I checked the levels for the first couple days, then forgot about it (lots going on that distracted me).

I live in California, our state is in a Shelter in Place. I called the dealer, they are closed. Not sure how the Service Dept isn't considered an "Essential Business". I called FCA, they have created a case number, but I just don't have a good feeling about it. Since they did not call or anything the last time. It was all through the dealer.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

I'm surprised your dealer is closed. Auto repair facilities and dealerships are classified as essential service under CA's shelter in place order. All the dealers and repairs shops near me are open.

Maybe in the Bay Area some of the businesses are being more cautious? I dont know.

South County (Gilroy) is closed, where I usually take it. I refuse to take my truck to Stevens Creek (San Jose). Waiting to hear back from Sunnyvale Dodge.

Gilroy's main line is offline, but their service dept is open lol

I was able to get my truck into a dealer. They replaced a 3 way valve that was leaking coolant. Not the EGR this time... We shall see how long this holds...

Info for others , your first post was too early ,
the Mopar page showed the EGRs were going to arrive April 9th
and they have started to change all EGRs on 2014 to 2019
at first they do the 2014 and 2015 ( some dealers do any year they want ,which is nice )
even you Kevin Fowler , will get another beefier EGR , the one you got in January was a new '' old version EGR ''.
..
mopar page link to see date of VB1 recall ( EGR ) :
VB1 used to show at top of page 13th position , now you need to look for it further down the page
