Does anyone NOT modify their Rams and keep them stock?

I feel like I’m in the minority keeping my 2019 stock. Well, full disclosure.. I did put on Husky mud guards, got the little Ram emblem dial shift cover and a couple of US flag stickers on each side after seeing the Built to Serve editions with the same. But otherwise, I’m very satisfied with the stock look and performance. I don’t off road at all, Don’t tow much other than our church trailer (before the church closed) .. otherwise, this is my daily driver. And yet, reading through the mod sections, I feel like I’m missing out by not modding it. Funny! Thoughts?

Me, i’ve kept mine stock for the past 8 years. All she needs is maintenance, and perhaps LED bulbs in the front & back.

All stock here, but I also tend to lease so modding isn’t really in the cards. [emoji3]

2014 in my 6th year and am completely stock - The only things close to a "mod" are my soft tonneau cover and side steps. I guess I also did Firestone airbags. With kids and work I just don't have time to mess around with my truck but totally understand how fun it could be if you are into it. I also have a lifetime warranty that I want to keep intact so I'm hesitant to mess with much.

Mine's mostly stock. Truxedo Lo-Pro tonneau cover, Husky mud guards, screen protector, Haul Gauge. I don't really consider them mods.

Stock.
Performance mods ... most don't add much ... if you're racing there are some but, the best are expensive. Things like a CAI need a tune with it and the cost/benefit isn't great.

Appearance ... yes you can spend a lot there and if that is your thing go for it.

I did lifts, wheels, tires, paint, you name it in the past. Now all I do are some accessories to make life easier. Retirement kind of changes priorities. All of those mods are like flushing money down the toilets......

I used to mod mine but the past few vehicles I’ve owned I’ve kept stock. It’s one less thing to worry about and you will likely never recoup the cost.

Appreciate the replies. Guess there are more than I thought out there who stay stock.
Prior to the Ram I had a 2018 VW Jetta GLI... now that was one car I didn’t mind modding! APR Stage 1 turned it into a little rocket... I would have gone further but then the truck entered my life.

I have never done any mods to any truck I have ever owned and I've been a truck owner all my life. I order my trucks with what I want on them and that's it.

I wouldn’t say I really modify. However the look and ride remain the same. I have a line x bed liner and BW turnover ball already installed. I have plans for ceramic window tint and airbags next.

It’s a leaser so I’m kept from the temptation to do anything more than light cosmetic. Figure I’m saving a lot of money that would ordinarily go into mechanical upgrades.

Bone stock other than Rhino Liner, steps, and flaps. Truck is nice as is and drives good on and off pavement. I would love to lift it and put some black wheels and 37’s on it but it doesn’t need it. I probably won’t do anything to it other than upgrade tires when the stocks start to suck.

I’ve had two modified Toyota’s - just suspension work. If you’ve ever driven a stock Tacoma or 4Runner they suck. They wallow going down the road. New suspension all around made them both completely different. To be honest the Ram doesn’t need anything other than maybe a little more wheel travel.

I think most people who buy RAM's (or any vehicle really) probably don't modify them much and I totally get that. I can understand though if you are a member of this forum it appears that everyone is modifying their truck. While it may be high percentage of forum members I am sure it's a pretty small percentage of general owners. It's either your thing or it isn't. I have loved doing all the changes to my truck but I totally get why you would buy the truck with everything you wanted when you bought it and left it at that as boring as that seems to me lol! :)
