I was wondering if anyone has put 35x12.5's on their factory blacked out 20's and how they look. Im not a big fan of 20's and would rather have 17 or 18's . The only advantages is that it would save me money from having to buy new wheels and i like the stock backspacing. Would you go 17 or 18's or keep 20's? Thanks for any input.

Go with 18" wheels. More choices for tire size and the Load rating is higher for what you need. You can pick up a set of Factory Alloy wheels for a pretty good price and it has good Backspacing.

I ran 35`s on my oem 20in rims for a couple of years, if you don`t off-road much they will work just fine and save you a ton of money by not buying different rims...
I ended up with a 17in rim and 37`s but I live in the mountains and hit the trails often.

I run 35s on my factory 20s in camping season and 37s on 18s during winter. Here's a few pics. I was running Toyo AT2 Extremes in 295/65R20 and will probably go with them again in a few months. I liked it a lot but love my 37s. I will run the smaller size for summer because it will be easier with my truck camper. e81df2e6e8f9a52506d6c92c74ee65b2.jpgdd70dd059ac4c41ecd1bcb8c390bc397.jpg5f251e45f890c2c2212f7c9e8c6a2e1b.jpg

Were you happy with that setup? Which tires did you go with?

Yes I was happy with them. They were Toyo AT 2’s. I went with 295’s on my 2018 with 18 inch wheels. Not sure if I will stay with them next time or go back to 35’s, I like a higher load rating so IDK

My buddy got 35x12.50r20 Ridge grappler mounted on my black factor 20's I had sitting in the garage. It's on his 2019 2500 6.4. No lift, no level. No rubbing at all, fit just perfect. tires.jpg truck.jpg
