I’m planning on replacing my shocks soon and I was wondering if replacing the factory steering stabilizer would be a good idea. ......? Do the OEM ones have a life cycle same as shocks? I never had one on a truck before.

I don't even remember seeing one on my 2003 1500 when I rebuilt the front end and swapped in a new steering rack a few years ago.[emoji848]

Yeah, my 06 2500 has one. I was just hoping to see what the life cycle is on them. But I’m thinking that I might just do it anyway. I’m sure a new one will be better than the factory one that had almost 100k on it...... ?

I just joined so sorry for the late post. I am changing my suspension and I am replacing the front and rear bars and links. The only bar for the front is made by ADDCO and the rear is made by Hellwig. its not cheap for the two of them. Its like $600.00 Good luck.

I didn't see a steering stabilizer on my 1500. Can you pop under the front and see if there is one on your truck? Take a pic and share?
