I might be the exception, but I think vehicles are best when they remain stock. Of course replacement items like tires and such I upgrade (with same size) when the time comes.

All depends what you’re after. Some just want a nice,quiet, comfortable daily driver. Others want to make a visual statement. While some like me want a 600hp sleeper truck as a daily driver.
