The demand for those small pickup trucks is so high, that Ford is bringing one out later this year, while Fiat is sleeping yet again. Just because they bring a new small truck doesn't mean that your "powerful and luxury" trucks fall off the cliff or can't be made more excessive.

So what high powered and luxury truck do you own? Ah, I see.. a 1500 night edition. So luxurious and powerful! Damn. I'll post my 75k Denali Dmax below.

Go troll somewhere else.

My '99 Dakota Ext'd. Cab was a perfect size for a 2wd street racer (until I blew the trans & rear!)
They didn't have a quad in 99 as I recall.

Ohhh I love those! One time my (a long time ago) minivan (lol I was in full dad mode) was in the shop and my rental car was one of those- extended cab 318 I believe I freaking loved it!!! A v8 in that size truck was awesome. I had just sold my 94 z71 and was really regretting selling it after that rental even the factory exhaust sounded good!

Thank you for sharing! Did they ever complain about your catch can or did you take it out?
I was out of warranty, but while still in warranty they never made an issue of my CAI or catch can. it would have been a different story if I had a tuner, but I don't.

The truck isn't even out, no details known. The only junk are your useless troll comments.

I would be happy with just the 6.4 being an option in the 1500.

Whatever. Based on your trucks you can't even afford what you ask for, otherwise you would own it by now.

What many potential customers are asking for is a truly small pickup truck in the form of a Toyota Hilux. A truck to transport tools and supplies, not your kids and nagging wife. A true man truck, a true work truck, a truck that can last 30 years unlike the unreliable BS with all those beta male comfort features that is being pushed out these days.

This video series makes the point..

I don't think any company wants a product that lasts 30 years, they wouldn't stay in business very long.
And personally, I'd get bored with the same truck for 3 decades no matter how reliable.

But that's just me.

Oh for sure, that's why they have ignored this demand for so long. All manufacturers want their customers to be a sheep and buy the higher end vehicles to maximize their profit. But I'm not a manufacturer, and when I want a WORK truck, I'm not going to waste my money on nonsense.

I paid 26k for my new RAM with a 39k sticker price. HEMI, 4WD, lock diff, power group. No way in hell is that truck worth 39k. And with this well known lifter design failure, it not even worth the 26k, and this is why I will sell it.

Also, this throw-away-society (getting bored and buying new stuff all the time over quality products that can last a long time) is exactly where China wants us to be. Mindless consumers with no desire for longevity, that export their own working middle class jobs outside the US, including related tax revenue, just so they can keep buying cheap junk. What could go wrong...

I know of no automotive manufacturer that EVER wanted their vehicle to last 30 years, including Henry Ford himself.
Bad business model for any consumer product really.
And when I decide to get a different vehicle I don't 'throw away' the old one, nor am I 'mindlessly consuming' the next one.
I like choices. Lots of people do.
China has zip to do with it.

OH you mean like a Ram PromasterCity but with a bed vs. a lockable cabin to carry "tools and supplies".
The pro city makes much more sense than a baby truck.
