Depends on what you wanna spend...but those truck bed cargo nets would do the trick pretty inexpensively...

I made an organizer for my 'stuff'. Pretty simple, just 2x4's and plywood and it sits nice and snug and can be removed when needed:

I put a coat of spray on bed liner on it to keep it protected from weather and just general aesthetics:

1994 4X4 - Replaced 12-31-17 with '04 1500 4X4

5.7 Hemi.....wow what a difference 10 years makes.....
With my '94 4X4, I made 2x stock material to fit the factory slots.
Unfortunately the rear spacing wasn't conducive to the good milk crates I use so I added angle strips to hold the rear one where I needed it closer to the end of the wheel well.
After the '94 got totaled by a fu*kin' Prius I picked up an '04 4X4 and moved what I could use to it.
The bed mat needed trimming to fit the new bed shape so I saved quite bit there.
The retention boards needed to be modified to fit the new bed. Since the bed is double walled, it was easy to add "J" hooks and loops in a few places to hook bungee cords to.
I prefer the bed mat over plastic or spray liners.
The tool tote fits in the wheel well space pretty well.
I have a three level wooden box on the left that stays with the truck that holds fasteners and a few tools and is held in place by a black heavy duty bungee cord.
Bungee cords are your friend!

Hell yeah, another DG'er! Nice to meet you!

Funny you mention a prison, since we have a tournament out here in the Old Joliet Prison once or twice a year.

You're probably talking about Lorton Hill DGC?

Looks beautiful out that way. I'm looking forward to getting out to Michigan and hitting up Flip City and all the 4x4 trails out there this summer.

Go online like I did. For about $90 you can buy an inner rubber inlay that will fit perfectly in the bed of your truck. That will stop anything from sliding around.

Ended up doing containers with bungee cords for my pops. Have them hooked to the front and the bins would slide to the back but can be dragged to the front when needed. These are pretty much the bins we used. He has 2 of them tied down for use.

I've used laundry baskets with bungee cords which worked the same.

I bought a stall mat from Murdock's, they just lay down between the fender wells, and are designed to keep things from slipping, plus have ridges to let it dry underneath after a rain.
I also cut a 2x4 for the back slots, to keep bottles from rolling to the front NOBODY likes flat coke ;')
