Good Day Folks,

Been reading on here quite a bit- Long story short, i am converting a 2014 ST to a loaded up unit.

I have pulled all the parts RF Hub - Antennas, including the complete cab wiring harness from a 2014 Laramie Crew cab that had push button start, Key Fob -remote start , keyless entry with the little button on the door handle.

Question is- Can i add all these used parts to my truck and make them work? Specifically the RF Hub?

My understanding is that there is no way to "remarry" a hub to a different truck. At least not with the tools at our disposal.

You can use the wiring, antennae and handles but will need a brand new rf hub and keyfobs

Being as i cannot use the RF Hub, and sorry for the question if its has been asked and answered...

What RF Hub Part number would i need for Adding the Remote Start - Keyless Go - Proximity Key Options to my 2014 1500 ST RCSB?

I looked on Mopar Parts and cant seem to figure it out, would the Keyless n Go RF hub be the one to look for, then add remote start to it?

Just got a tricked out 2017 Lamerie 1500 with everything, except enter-n-go. Read through this thread and it appears it could be added by someone with better skills than me. Is there anyone in the Dallas area that has done this and wants to be compensated to do it again?

Hey guys looking for some help here. I have a 14 ram that I attempted to install a brand new 18 RF hub / antennas / harness into it. The keys I got were “new OEM” off eBay but guaranteed to work.

Install went fine until it came time to program the new RF hub. Fob’s programmed fine using my existing trucks pin. When it got time to do the RF hub reset it would not take at all. It kept giving me an error that the FOBIK was not detected even though it was on top of the antenna and the truck responds to the key inputs. 0000 pin was used.

U103C is set and my truck won’t go into accessory mode so maybe my used start stop button is the issue? I had to put the truck back to stock at 2am last night :(

That’s a fault with the k line communication. There’s 5 possible causes:
K line short to ground
Short to battery
Open circuit
RF Hub
Ignition node
Since the hub is new, and all you did was unplug the existing connectors from the old rf hub and ignition node, and plug them back in, we can probably rule out the first four. I would *think* the ignition node is “just a switch”, and a used one would work, so maybe it’s actually just a faulty ignition node? Either way, a brand new switch is cheap, and I would just replace it with a new one.

Thanks! I’m thinking the switch is bad because the truck never goes into accessory mode. The RF hub reset has to be done in accessory mode so I think this is my whole problem

I think with Alpha you can disable tip start to see if the truck will start once the button is pressed after disabling tip start

Glad it was a quick/simple fix!

I’m at the same point, unfortunately I was interrupted in my progress to head back out to work a week early.

I’m completing a dynamat/dynaliner project at the same time, thus the gutted interior.

Hello!

I’m trying to do the keyless enter and go upgrade for my truck and need some help.

Someone mentioned using the 2017+ RF hub in their 2015. Is this possible with the 2013?

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn that I’m upgrading to have the keyless enter and go. I found a VIN of a ram without the air suspension and with remote start (like mine):
1C6RR7NT6DS599948

Can you please tell me if the 2017 Hub is compatible with my truck or what part number might work?

Thanks!!

For anyone with a 2013 Ram 1500, here is the part number of the RF Hub with Remote Start and no Air Ride Suspension:

Not sure if this was already asked but how do you remove the terminals from the C2 connecter. I messed up a little while building the harness.

What I have done in the past is slide a wire tire like you get from garbage tie
Trying to basically create pressure in the connector to allow a gap between the pin and connector so you can get the terminal out

Not sure what your time frame is but they actually make pin removal tools. You can get them on Amazon and Ebay pretty cheap. You can also try using any small pic tools you have or a small micro screwdriver or paperclip to press the tab down.
