So I am not seeing anyone that has really come up with the cause of this. No dealer either, apparently

seems a lot of them get it fixed or significant improvement by replacing the door weather seal. Both my trucks do/did it with the crosswind(17 & 18). Funny thing is if i press out on the widow about half way up the leading edge it goes away atleast on the old one. I stick my finger between the glass and the inside felt piece. On the new one it hasnt been frequent enough for me to try it. My FIL had his mirror replaced on his 16 and it solved it. Only difference was he had trailer tows and I have reg powers folds.

To clarify its the must be a strong crosswind and I must be going at least 70mph. Otherwise nada.

I'm going to try removing my power fold mirror on the passenger side and put thin weather strip tape between the mirror and the door, let you know how it works out.

FYI...I took mine out last night to see if I could get the sound to begin with no crosswind. I found it...starts at 88 mph and at 92 it is making this sound 90% of the time. At just under 100 mph it’s quite pronounced thus FCAs wind tunnel must consist of two desk fans.

I’m not indicating these truck or tires are made to go this fast for a sustained duration but I will hand the friggin mechanic a helmet the next time I take my truck in and offer to give him a ride so we can “duplicate” the sound!

I have noticed twice when doing the 75 mph speed limit north of here that I get a harmonic wind noise but only when there is a cross wind. Has anyone noticed it? Heard of a fix for it? I see in the comments of the link below that there is supposed to be a bulletin on it as it's the backing plate on the mirror. Will be taking it in next week but was curious if anyone knew the bulletin number as it will save a ton of time at the dealer...especially if they can't duplicate it because there isn't a 75 mph area near the dealership.

You can also here it here:
And yes, this 2019 has been rock solid since the moment I took possession on October 11th. It drives perfectly and I've had no issues other than this...it's a keeper!

Has your truck been repaired? What was the fix? Mine has been in the shop multiple times. Dodge engineers can figure it out...at least that is what the dealer is telling me. They replaced insulation behind each upper handhold on both sides.

Never repaired and decided to trade it off for a 2020 this past October. No noise, no issues and no flaws.

Has anyone found a fix for this that I can tell my service dept about? I have had my Rebel in the shop multiple times for this sound.

I recall that with the early Gen 4 Rams
They also had wind noises

Owners were using painters tape around the front doors.
Some would start from the bottom of the door to the window & drive with it that way, then they would add tape. others tried using tape in several ways.

It turned out to be a lack of foam in certain places between the door sill & the top of the door.
Some doors were tweaked between the mirror & the top

I just noticed wind noise last week. Only noticeable at 50+ mph. I thought my wife didn't close the door all the way or had the window down a little. That wasn't causing it. It did it today at highway speed. I had the AC on. If I moved the knob to defrost the wind noise went away. When I moved from defrost to any of the other selections the wind noise started again.
