You can save setting to Google drive, but Alfa does not save any changes you made.

So good to play on others vehicles.

Awesome, thank you. I just have a couple of friends who want like the DRL’s switched on and the fog light dropout changed. So I just wanted to make sure it was all good

My front parking sensor light indicates that it is faulty (hopefully it is just the battery which becomes weaker).

Where can I check in AlfaOBD these parking sensors and the fault codes etc...?

I haven't bread about anyone changing the lighting color of a cluster without replacing the LED cluster lights. You might want to ask Benny with AllMoparParts.com in the vendor section of the forum, he maybe able to look up a police vehicle specified cluster if it's available.

I'm at my wits end.

I thought my RA2 to RA4 was basically plug and play. Everything powers on.

I cannot get any of the uconnect apps to work including navigation. It tries to register the unit and it fails.

Is there a setting I am missing in alfa that can tell the BCM it's now a RA4? I spent the last 90 mins looking and can't find anything.

Thanks in advance

Do you have the correct antenna for it?

I believe so, it has siriusxm I thought it was built in with that
Your regular XM antenna puck should work fine. As far as the Apps go many of them are no longer supported plus you need to have a Uconnect subscription which you cannot get since your truck did not come equipped with the RA4. It will give you a message saying it cannot connect or your subscription has expired. This is normal. Some apps may work plus your voice texting should work if you have and android phone. Yelp still works in mine but most of the other apps don't even show up anymore. As far as your Nav goes if it's an RA4 it should work without any codes being added. Try driving around for a while while trying the Nav and see if it pics up your location. One code you can enable in the CSM menu is (Nav Turn By Turn In Cluster) it will usually work by default but by enable the option in your menu you can can turn it on and off like a truck that came equipped with the RA4. You can also enable the (Apps Present) feature but it shouldn't make any difference.

To those asking about in motion navigation lockout, I believe the Tazer people have done this on some chargers, we are converting a 2013 Charger to a 2014 NAV radio and will be going after it then.

But I wanted to post the menu areas in the LD Charger area in case it can lead to clues on the trucks.

Thanks for the input. I don't even see the button for nav on the screen. Wonder if I got a RA4 after all. I'll do more digging in the morning. Thanks for the quick input

If you do not have an HD radio button you got an RA3. You can still activate NAV “relatively cheaply” through an ebay vendor. I chose that route because I had my RA3 already set up and SXM transferred over to the new radio.
Also YELP somewhat works too. Used it to find info on a restaurant while camping last year just to see if it could work. It did.

So the OBD link MX+ like the one in the Amazon link I provided is most preferred? I just want to have the most options.
Can't go wrong with either the MX or MX+ if you use Android.
With the MX+ you can use it with iOS devices also but there is no AlfaOBD for iOS yet.
