Not without modifying the firmware files and getting the radio to flash your untrusted firmware.

For AlphaODB to work on a 2020 do i just need the security bypass cable? what i am really asking, is if i go though the menus in alphaODB do i have to select 2019 or will 2020 show up??

I am still on the fence about getting this, i know it will work out of the box with the 2011 Durango we have. and my ODB scanner is ancient now, so this would be an awesome upgrade.

You need a bypass cable for 2018+ FCA vehicles.

Yeah i need the bypass cable but all of the videos i have watched require that you select the year from the list, so you want 2014-2017 BCM (i made that one up), for the 2020 will there be a 2020 item in the list??

You will only be able to select from what is in your BCM.

In some cases, changing the year MAY give you different options. They may, or may not work.

Changing the year to one pre-SGM will not get you access, as it is a hardware gateway.

Found it.

EVIC Splash Screen (for Limited logo): (2015 to present trucks)
Vehicle Configuration 1: Special Package Select "Limited"
Vehicle Configuration 2: Special Package Select "Limited"

I selected Ram 1500 rather than limited.
Just remember proceed with caution.
There is another splash screen option list. It actually says splash screen type: vehicle model, mopar/alpine, beats, shaker, etc. With be displayed on the 8.4 screen whereas the "limitedc will be on your 7" display by selecting vehicle package #1

None of theses features are working on my truck, and alfaobd won’t allow me to upload and connect to google drive. I have a 2018 Ram 1500 night edition, I got the bypass module and so far only the global windows down is the only program that works on my truck.

the other program says the the procedure completed but after I turn off the car and wait 10 minutes than come back to check it, it’s not working.

any help or suggestions Will be much appreciated.

2018+ seem to take a while to show certain changes. Might need to give it more time than 10 minutes.

Did the global windows down and added factory trailer brake controller (4 settings to activate) in my 2019 classic and set a timer for 5 minutes between changes and everything worked fine

I’ve given it up to 5 hours for one change and still nothing. This is frustrating
Who did you get your security bypass from?

What settings are you trying to change?

Does anyone know if the 2018 ram 1500 big horn has the reverse tilt mirror memory? I was looking to turn it on with my OBD reader if it did.

I just had a very similar issue doing a VGT calibration for a buddy. Alfa said the procedure was complete but it never did anything. Only thing that worked for me was to unhook the batteries for a few minutes then try the procedure again.

You could also try the key in the acc and in run positions to see if there is any difference.

Unfortunately, you just are going to have to mess with it for now. Good news is that updates are pretty frequent so it might be an issue that is corrected eventually.

Edit: just remembered I also did this when having that issue, might help for you too.

Go to the alfa main page and go to the settings gear in the middle top of the page. Then scroll down to interface timeout and increase it to the max number 1000ms.
