I have 250k miles turbo is @ about 95%, exhaust brake no longer works and is beginning to wine. What replacement turbo would be good for daily towing heavy and get me another 200k? Also, I am working on a budget of around 2k-2500k for the turbo alone. I've looked at ats and a couple others but wanted to get some other opinions.
Thanks

all depends on if you want to keep the exhaust brake function or not. Looking at some options as well plan on keeping the vgt in my new truck so thinking the BD screamer or possibly a spoologic rebuilt unit with billit.

After spending over $6000 on new PCM and having the EZlynk reinstalled, and another $1300 on a new CP3 pump I am now going to replace the turbo in my 2011 with a new VGT Fleece turbo that comes with a new actuator, because of CEL and turbo codes over the last 9 months. My go-to diesel mechanic didn't recommend a rebuilt turbo because of too many of them failing. I will take another $3800 hit for this but hope my truck is good to go for pulling my new toy hauler. Jeez, I have bought good vehicles over the last nearly 50 years for less than I have spent on this Cummins. I really like this truck and hate to move on to something else.
