Finally got the lift installed and was stoked at first. I noticed the squat at first but figured it was tires and i guessed putting bils at 2.8 I may have to buy a spacer down the road or 5" zone rear spring. Anyway with the initial excitement didnt gine tooth comb it as I loved the height in the front. Well turns out these jackasses used the preload spacer plus the 2.8 on the bils. I had a 3" puck up front prior it sat @ 42 now it sits @ 47 so I picked up 5 inches when it should have been 3 max fml. Anyways here it is i wish that CV angles were livable so I could keep the height and just toss a spacer on the back but it is what it is. Would you chance these angles? O and installer of course played dumb I was like hey ******** everyone knows you cant stack for this reason they said they will fix it now on their dime.

Bils and top spacer combined not a good idea ... No experience, just the prevailing opinion from reading

CV angles are terrible. Remove the spacer and all should be good. Remember make them do a front-end alignment too. What rear track bar are you using? Adjustable i hope. They need to make sure it tracks straight...

Holy angle man, no way I would chance that.

Sorry that happened. Should be a pretty quick fix for them though.

Wonder how hard it was to get this back together. Must have had to stand on the lower control arm to get the strut back in lol.

I do have to ask though my truck has never been in 4x4 is there a danger if its not in 4wd? Never offroad so no more drop just curious what the danger to the cv is if it's not in 4x4. Asking for knowledge not to start a fight lol.

That was my thought. After some spacers I’ve put on old trucks and a buddies ram thing got tight without the BILS I couldn’t imagine trying to get that in...

Make the shop fix it and make it right. I would not consider anything in the realm of any sort of 4x4 action until they unfuck that abortion. Baby that sucker around until those CV angles are a bit flatter.

And on another note, “to each their own” on the “yee yee” wheels.

Ya! That cv angle can’t stay!! Those cv joints won’t last long at that angle and if you make the angle any worse they’ll just let go. Too bad. It was a nice height!

I know it's so depressing lol. Another thing that sucks is dropping it that like 2 inches its prolly gonna rub.

Shouldn’t be too bad. Nothing you can’t grind a little off here or there.

I did a little work myself and added Clayton Off-road Overland upper and lower rear control arms. Man what a difference in launching. Tomorrow I’m hoping to find a good spot to see if my wheel hop is gone. Lol

What lift did you end up going with, 4in? It does look really nice.
Only thing keeping me from doing a real lift and not just bils is fitting my truck in the garage. Dang it

It's the 6 inch superlift with bils Which i was under the impression you couldn't stretch because it was a stretched 4 but clearly not the case lol.

So that is the 8in lift then like the zone 6 with bils at 2.8 like a few members have?

So you are sitting at like 10in of lift with the spacers?

Dang man your wheels and tires make it look like a 4-6in lift. How do you get into the thing? Must be way high in person.
