Let's shake the tree a little!
I love my ram, and think that it is leaps beyond the 2013 f150 I had. That being said, I'm an enthusiast and I love all things about this hobby. Of all the retro-restylized vehicles released FoMoCo knocked this one out of the park. The 2 door is just freaking perfect. Still not sure about the power plants since the gen 1 3.5 ecoboost left a sour taste in my mouth but man, when these actually hit the streets next year I really might get one. The offroad specs are just too awesome to ignore, plus I've always wanted another bronco ( I owned a 1990).

I agree. Though that normally is a non issue for me. I'm a smaller guy at 5-8 so aside from being 200lbs I normally fit comfortably in most vehicles. Because of that I suppose I don't pay much mind to things like that but I can see how bigger guys would have potential fitment issues. Being almost a year away from actual release dates they own the marketing hype at the moment. I for one fell into it. Once I see it in person I'll know for sure if I need it or if it's smoking mirrors. But, for now, it's a big want.

I dig the 6 speed manual plus crawler but with 2 toddlers and a full size dog doesn’t fit in my stable.

That and the sound of a four cylinder turbo belong in an Uncle Ben’s Box.

It looks promising for sure and we may very well have a contender for the Jeep on our hands but time will tell.

FoMoCo has brought back historical nameplates that fall short of the original.

The best thing they did is offer the Sasquatch package across all trims. You can buy a base model, get the lockers and 35s, and pretty much be set.

the wrangler rubicon 392 concept looks better to me. Doubt they'd make a production vehicle on 37s though like the concept vehicle.

That's exactly where my brain went. It's equipped nicely as is. I don't want or need the extras. Dual tops, all the sasquatch stuff, and I'll take care of what I want from there.

I think the 2-door looks like a Suzuki Samarai. The 4-door isn't bad looking though, I'm not really a fan of Ford. I prefer the Jeep myself.

Hell yes I think the new Bronco is badass. However, no way would I buy the first year of any new vehicle, there will be design issues, fitment issues, software issues and assembly line issues. I'll wait and see how this does in the real world for a year or two.

That's my plan. It's not hitting pavement till April. So that gives me plenty of time to save, payoff my ram and let people work out the kinks. But, this will replace my jeep as my fun vehicle, just a matter of being patient.

I think Ford knocked it out of the park with the new Bronco! I’ve been following it closely the last couple years and honestly it is everything I was hoping for. My wife and I have been saving for quite awhile and have a nice chuck of change set aside for a 4 door. We put our reservation in for a Wildtrak, but that might change once we’re able to build & price it out further. Super excited nonetheless!

I will say the suspension and crawl ratio is impressive from the factory, but at the end of the day, the factory is Ford and I am not a Ford fan.

My gut says Broncos will be the next Raptors or Mustangs. Cool to be the first to have one until everyone else does and we drive past them when they're Found On Road Dead.

Posted this in another thread somewhere, but I would've liked to see the 5.0 as an option. Pretty much kills it for me.

I will be in line for a new vehicle in 2022 and a Bronco is definitely on the list. I would put a deposit but I don't want pay full price, will wait till production is at full scale and price war with jeep has started. Having had a built toyota mini truck and a fzj80 I think Bronco may pull me back in.

What kills it for me too.

Sell the damn thing with no motor or barest cheapest POS around and then also sell a V-8 Crate motor that can be installed, after I buy it and before I pick it up.
Please the govt by averageing out how great your MPG is across all sales and make your customers happy by allowing them to have some actual power insterad of a souped up Mouse that is going to die.
