Interesting. I haven't had that issue. Either it gets stuck "loading" or it works great with a spot-on location. That seems like an antenna hookup issue. I was surprised to learn that in CarPlay, the iPhone utilizes the RAM GPS antenna. I had no idea that was the case, but I tested it and indeed the iPhone is using the GPS signal provided by UConnect. If the factory Nav displays my truck off on a parallel road, and I switch to CarPlay, then Google Maps will show me the exact same thing..

I forgot you opened it to replace the screen. Are you sure you reconnected the antenna internally and on the right connection?

I’ll open it up and check. I did disconnect the small connectors in there. But I did reconnect them. There’s only 1 spot they can go. After looking at Powerwagons diagram. The violet (H) connector is open on my deck after I connected everything. I’m gonna try moving the purple cable over and see if that works

Exactly what I purchased, can't say I gained anything but I didn't lose anything either, I wasn't having issues to begin with just want to have all connections correct - I stuffed the antenna under the dash behind the radio {much Like I did for my RER in the Magnum)

I don't really have any issues with my UAQ, but I do have a question. Sometimes when I start the truck after only being out of it for 15 minutes or so the time is off by 5 hours exactly. It corrects itself within 15 seconds but I was just curious why it happens.

Ordered it. Can’t hurt. I opened it up and made sure all the connections were good. All good. There’s a little card on the side of the unit that has all the wires going to the plugs on the unit. So maybe that card is bad. Says “Sierra” on it. Anyone know where I can maybe get one of these boards? The number on it came up with nothing in google

I've only had it in for a few days but it doesn't appear (so far) to get very printed at all. I'll take some pictures later today and post them. I'll also open the sunroof for a real good test.

I will say I haven't seen a matte screen protector quite like this. It is fairly thick and resilient but not blurry or cloudy when installed.

Seems to do well with fingerprints. Barely noticeable until I swiped behind my ear to really oil it up. It actually wiped away pretty easily with my other finger? Any glare you see in these photos is entirely positional and generally not noticeable from the driver's seat. It also is exaggerated by the camera and not as "glaring" in person.

Looking to see if anyone has a solution for putting in a compass hub in a 2015 Dodge Ram Jump Seat. My original media hub was wider and with this new compass hub I have a gap in the tray.

Could fill it in with something or buy the insert where that hub is made for. Here is the part #68376066AA

There's an eBay seller (lombeephre) repairing radios and I'm fairly certain he's mixing rear cases with different PN radios/internal hardware and the SW I see loaded doesn't look correct either. (ie application version shows non USA country & version # )

This UAQ (68331631Ax) hardware looks correct physically but appears to be running a Jeep Sw load (fairly certain, Jeep got a different hardware PN than the RAM) ... See the menu icon differences. (Radio may have just loaded the Jeep theme if bench test SW is saying it's installed in a Jeep)

Yes that Ebay sellers store is a bit odd. A mix of car parts and computer parts. A number of the radios (like the one above) look like they have been in the weather. This seller looks like someone that buys auction lots of used / recycled electronics culls through them for stuff that looks OK and sells it on Ebay. With all the different brand radios he has it would seem unlikely he has the equipment to actually test them before selling them. Definitely a "buyer beware" scenario. Not the first time we have seen this. Wasn't there a facebook seller that was selling Frankenradio's about a year ago? I seem to remember a rash of those coming through the threads with forum members who bought them for an upgrade and had problems.

I believe he has came across a supply of test/demo radios.he has a lot of 21 for sale.most of them have a factory use only sticker and aa on the part number which is usually the start of a production run then goes to ab then ac and etc.more than likely these were to be disabled and or disposed of.which would explain some not having software.i have Franesteined a radio but tested it and was upfront and priced accordingly.

Este hardware UAQ (68331631Ax) parece correcto físicamente, pero parece estar ejecutando una carga Jeep Sw (es bastante seguro, Jeep tiene un PN de hardware diferente a la RAM) ... Vea las diferencias del icono del menú
