This is my first post here, so my apologies if I'm posting in the wrong area....
I bought my truck new at Dave Smith motors in November 2002.
It is a 2003 Ram 2500 with 5.9 liter cummins
long bed
4x4
laramie
manual 6 speed
256,000
Everthing works, in great shape, new tires, minor scratches & dings you would expect in a truck this age.

I'm getting a new RAM and will be selling my current truck outright. Any suggestions as to a reasonable price?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum! I would run it through kbb.com and/or truecar.com to get an idea of where you should be (neither are perfect but it's a start). You might also check out cargurus or autotrader to see if others have the same vintage listed. Good luck!

As already mentioned, I would get a rough idea from kbb and other similar sources. A lot of variables go into the value of a vehicle, including your geographical location.

Welcome to the forum, congrats on the new truck, and good luck with the sale. Be sure to post up some pics of the truck. We like pics. Lol

As mentioned. Geo comes into play. Rust free can be worth thousands. Maintenance records. Proof of heavy hauling, towing, hot rodding can sometimes cause negative pricing.

That being said. Manual Cummins from that year is tough to find. Long bed. Tough to find. Lot of high school boys and girls out there want these things to draw attention to themselves. People who tow or are good with a wrench and not afraid of diesel repair are going to be quite interested.

A lot of good going for you. You can probably get a "stupid" price for it if it's clean. Kbb and then look at local markets on Craig's or FB. In my experience local sellers are always high. But there is a reason. These things are selling high. And new trucks are even higher.
Kind of a long unhelpful rant. Good luck with sale.

5:1 someone will have to get a loan. Dealerships, banks and even the state (for tags) here use NADA as the reference. When looking around for a camper here, there were some "reasonable" deals here, until I went to the bank and got the value. They didn't care about KBB.

Check local listings and adjust accordingly for a one owner, manual, long bed Cummins. Then sell it to Diesel Brothers for their next giveaway truck ;)
