Ram 3500 2013. If I order folding mirrors, do I have to replace the window control module or just the switch module? Part number if I do? Thanks

You can use the pin puller app, from the app store, or call your dealer and get it, for free. Make sure you tell them it is for the RF Hub.

What do you mean by kit? Are you installing the remote start kit? What is the model and trim line of your truck? Are you still getting the same failure and what is it?

Get the puller app from the goggle store. „Chrysler pin puller“ I think.
And then buy the necessary credits ($10 worth?) so that you can use it. Then you get the code from the app.

I have same model and had been contemplating installing same kit. One thing I had noticed from the instructions was that before the new RF hub was replaced the dealer had to add the sales code so that the truck would accept the new one. I wasn’t sure how to bypass that with Alfa so I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. It appears that is what you are experiencing with that error. I believe I have seen the RF Hub replacement procedure in Alfa so I’d look around to see if you can find a remote start setting then change it yes. Curious to what you find.

Yes, you are correct on the procedure but the instruction say to program the keys first. still looking for the RF hub procedure. Hopefully someone will chime in. Thanks

Is this for a remote start kit with a new rf hub? If so, is it for a push button start truck, or an ignition with a regular fob you insert into the ignition?

Regular one you insert the key. Kit #82214054 on a 2014 Ram tradesman.

Ok, AlfaOBD is not capable of programming a new rf hub for the baseline fob system. Try this- install the rest of the kit (hood latch), and re-install the old rf hub. Enable the remote start setting in the bcm, and program one of the new fobs with the original rf hub. After that, reset the rf hub. See if you have remote start functioning then.
