How do i delete the crappy TPMS. Really sick of seeing the yellow light. I want to run 50PSI unloaded but the TPMS light always on. 2016 Powerwagon THX. Matt

I haven't adjusted it on my Ram but I turned it off entirely on my 2015 Jeep using JScan, took maybe 30 seconds.

Do a search might be a menber near you that has AlphaOBD and will change it. Then you can set it and know if you have a tire go low.

Not even the duck posted the correct answer? Put a piece of duck tape over the light, problem solved.

AlfaOBD will allow you to turn it off and change pressures.

Yep as said, I reduced my tpms threshold to 50 psi with alpha obd and I now run around 56psi in my tires. Big difference in ride quality. This is a great mod!

Because the early 2000s saw many SUV rollover and blowout attributed to low tire pressure. What? Because folks no longer do preventative maintenance on vehicles. They rely on idiot lights.

Do the alpha obd fix. Removing the sensors will mean the light will always come on so if it bothers you now it will continue to bother you. The tape fix. Lol. If the light bothers you a chunk of tape in the cluster will bother you more. Also, the warning chime will still go off.

I've been seeing the TPMS light for a year now, I barely even notice it anymore.
I fully agree that it's all because of idiots who can't be bothered to use a tire pressure gauge.

I used Alphobd to reset my tire pressure range. It was easy. Now low is 36 and the upper limit is 50, but it could be anything you want.

If you go into a shop to get new tires and your current TPMS sensors work then they have to leave the shop working. It’s federal law and shop can be held legally negligent if they aren’t and your tire gives out.

no shop is supposed to work on tires with no tpms sensors or sensors not working.

the light in your truck will always be on unless you have working sensors or unless you adjust/turn off

That thing got a Hemi... yup.
Aaah.. this one is fun. Remove the tpms sensors and replace with normal stems. Make a pvc tube, cap both ends with Schraeder fitting at one end. Put the tpms sensors inside, seal it up and pressurize it. Everything works as normal. Do not put it in the cab of the truck I case it fails for some reason. I kept mine in my toolbox in the bed.

that’s an old school Jeep trick....
