I'm not sure about PA, but be aware that in many states having additional lights (turned on) of any color except amber on the front of a private vehicle on a public street is illegal. You might want to check your local laws before swapping those.

I have a 2012, do I still need to leave the key fob inside? Mine doesn’t have the proximity unlock or anything, just a normal lock/unlock key fob with the key built into the fob

I did for my 2010 as per the instructions. My fobs are same as yours.
I also don't change settings unless I'm stopped.
I've read of issues with a CEL after not following these two tips.
Been running mine over a year now with no problem.

Bought the 6.4 intake kit from Moes it’s going to be fun.

So, all I've done this week is put in my Cover Craft Ulti-Mat dash cover. I waited 8 weeks for that thing to come in, but I am really happy with it. Still waiting for the lift and the wheel/tire combo.

Still waiting on my Phoenix Automotive 12.1” Tesla Style screen. I ordered it 36 days ago and it still hasn’t shipped. This company is complete **** and is the worst company I’ve ever witnessed. It’s a **** show, customer service is a joke and will get mad at you and give you attitude and be extremely rude. It’s literally been 36 days since I placed my order and still yesterday nobody could give me a straight answer as to when my radio will ship. It’s complete f’n bulls**t man.... nobody should ever buy from this company ever.

I've heard this time and time and time again about Phoenix.
what I have come to know is the only thing they have in house (meaning in the states) are returned used radios. If you're getting a new one, which I would imagine you are, since it's the 12.1 inch. it's coming from China and it's going to take FOOOOOOOOOOOOOREVER!
but when you get it post a bunch of pictures cuz I'm super interested in upgrading my 10.4 to this.

It was the colour I wanted on my '15. I must say I'm impressed how well the white seems to hide dirt, dents, and scratches.

Installed a DZ Tailgate assist kit.
Pleasantly surprised to see the tailgate connection has been reinforced on the newer kit, but not sure how I feel about the look.

Finally routed the wires for Bluetooth and welded in the cutout, obnoxious at the push of a button.



definitely a little low rpm torque loss but once you’re at the top of the powerband it shifts more firm which tells me the stock cam just needs to exhale better.

Installed the first fully functional prototype of my Touchscreen LCD Aux switch.

Thanks for the heads up, but I’m not worried at all about that. It’s such a small, minor set of lights that are not projecting light down the road, that I doubt I’ll get bothered. Where I’m from (outside Philadelphia) the cops are more interested in pulling over (and then violating the rights of the vehicle owners with illegal search’s) Civic’s with cut springs and $30 mufflers and other modified 90’s *** cars, or any modified “sports car”. They tend to leave modified pickup trucks and SUV’s alone.

I’m on day 37 or 38 since I placed my order. It’s laughable at this point. The customer service is downright trash. Once it ships it should only take about 5-7 days to get here. I have 2 businesses where I am constantly getting stuff shipped to me from China and it doesn’t take as long as people think. Every time I speak to someone at Phoenix they tell me the same ******** excuse; “your order is still processing which means the warehouse is doing a compatibility check and a quality test and your radio will ship once they complete that”. I mean that is total ********. It should take 20 minutes to do both of those things and they could do 40-50 orders a day doing both of those checks which means in the 37-38 days since I placed my order, they could have fulfilled thousands of orders by now which they are not getting that many.

I dunno wtf they are doing but it’s obviously a terrible business model and a complete joke. I feel like they are collecting in as much cash as they can before they close their doors and make off with everyone’s money from open orders. No company can be successful in 2020 by taking 38+ days to ship an order when that item is NOT out of stock or on back order. Something fishy is going on here.

Bought a Pedal Commander. Not sure why I waited so long...

Detailed my truck yesterday in preparation for a 6am photo shoot for the September TOYM contest that I got nominated for.





Also replaced my R A M grille letters with new ones that the eBay seller sent me because the old ones arrived broken and I had to glue them back together to use them so I am glad the new ones showed up.

Also finally got my Morimoto XBT Bluetooth controller wired up to a keyed 12v power source and my RGB’s in my headlights are working now.




Yesterday I got out my Canon Rebel T7i and took around 110 photos of my truck after it was detailed, photos of the RGB headlights at dusk & then at night, I also took videos of my Mufflex DOD-M80 off-road Y pipe exhaust on a cold start, videos of my custom retrofit RGB’s and some other videos. I need to edit everything and then post them on here.

Then this morning I took around 150 photos for the September Truck Of The Month contest. The photos came out so amazing, I am beyond excited to edit and then post them!

Still waiting on a few parts to arrive, also I need to have the body shop fix their f**k ups on my new front bumper I just painted that came out horrible.

It's pretty hard to understand how a professional painter or a decent business owner would let a finished product leave looking like that. You must have gotten the "new" guy that painted your bumper. Sorry for all your problems, but your build sure looks like is coming together nicely. Good luck with the Truck of the Month contest!!!
