2007 ram 1500 4.7 2wd quad cab. I was parked with engine running and AC on full blast for about 5 minutes and AC just quit. The heat index was I think 105°f and I'm just getting over or at the tail end of covid19 so I'm still pretty weak and that kind of heat made it really hard to breath. I drove straight home and had to go lay down. Once it cooled down outside I went and made sure everything was plugged in under the dash as far as the motor and what I believe is the resistor a weird ceramic deal and checked the 10amp fuse under the hood and that's as far as I got before I had to go lay down. I'm planning on running some wire with an inline fuse and a switch straight from the battery to the blower motor and hope for the best. This damn virus is doing it's best to beat me but there's no quit in me I just need my AC working good enough while I'm still recovering and I'll fix it right when my health is back any advice will be appreciated

Ok I've removed the AC blower motor and hooked it straight to the battery with a 10amp fuse wired in my jumper wire connecting the positive battery terminal to the fan and just used a jumper wire to connect the negative terminal of the battery to the fan blower motor and motor works but it blew the inline fuse immediately so put in a new fuse and connected wires to the opposite sides of the plug on the motor and it did the same thing immediately blew the fuse but the fan seems to be working I'm gonna get my voltmeter out tomorrow and see where I'm loosing power I'm gonna start from blower motor and work backwards until I have power

Does it spin freely by hand or are the bushings dry and tight

Yes it spins, it's got a little drag and is making a little noise but can barely hear it. Good news I started checking for power and found one of the wires going to the blower motor plug was broke. Repaired the wire and blower motor working AC is working great now thank you. After I'm feeling better I'm gonna hit the local pick and pull to get another ac blower motor does anyone know how new of a truck that will still work?
